Warzone & Cold War Season 3 Reloaded Roadmap
’80’s Action Heroes Event
The ’80’s Action Heroes event for Warzone and Cold War will launch right at the start of Season 3 Reloaded. It’ll bring some limited-time challenges, rewards and game modes as well as two awesome now operators.
But first, make sure to check out the ’80s Action Heroes Event trailer here.
Rambo Operator Bundle
The first iconic action star arriving in Warzone and Cold War Season 3 Reloaded is none other than Rambo. Players will be able to purchase his operator bundle in the store as soon as the update drops.
John McClane – Die Hard Operator Bundle
Secondly, Die Hard hero John McClane will also be dropping into Verdansk at the start of Season 3 Reloaded.
Make sure to check out the leaked Rambo and John McClane skins here.
New Weapons in Season 3 Realoaded
Baseball Bat Melee Weapon
Firstly, the Baseball Bat melee weapon will arrive in Black Ops Cold War at the launch of Season 3 Reloaded. Warzone players will have to wait until Season 4 to get their hands on it, but they will finally be able to use the Ballistic Knife in Verdansk after the update.
The AMP63 pistol is a full-auto sidearm that will shred in close-quarters combat. It’ll arrive a bit later in Season 3 Reloaded.
Multiplayer Updates in Season 3 Reloaded
New Multiplayer Maps
Two New Multiplayer maps are coming in the Reloaded update for Cold War Season 3.
Classic Black Ops map Standoff is returning once more! The fan-favorite three-lane map will be just like you remembered, even down to the notorious exploding van.
Zombies players will know this Outbreak map very well, but Duga will now be used for multi-team Multiplayer game modes too!
New Game Modes
Three new game modes are also coming in Season 3 Reloaded for Black Ops Cold War Reloaded.
Players need to capture Hardpoints and kill enemies, whilst also battling against the clock. You can earn more time and five different buffs to make your character super-powered by playing the objectives in this fast-paced mode.
Rambo’s Gun Game
Imagine Gun Game but with way more firepower! Rambo’s Gun Game arrives in week 2 of Season 3 Reloaded and mixes up the weapon pool to include scorestreaks like the War Machine, Death Machine, and Combat Bow.
10 teams of four players drop into a large map and the last team standing wins. Players will have to scavenge for armor and loot, escape radiation zones and board the exfil chopper to win.
There are a few new things coming to Outbreak in the Season 3 Reloaded update. Firstly, players will able to complete a brand-new Main Quest, but beware, massive Orda monsters are now on the loose across the Ural Mountains.
An easter egg for Outbreak will also be coming very soon, along with fishing rods near bodies of water. Using these could get players salvage, armor, perks, or even a ‘special surprise’!
Cranked 2: No Time to Crank
This limited-time version of Cranked will be even more action-packed. Expect more explosives and all of the Mystery Box locations to be active.
New Custom Mod Support, Mystery Box Weapons, and Weapon Buffs
Zombies players can also look forward to finally being able to save their custom weapon builds. Additionally, DLC weapons like the MAC-10, Streetsweeper, and FARA 83 can now be found as Mystery Box and Trials rewards.
Plus, there is a huge weapon tuning update, affecting loads of guns in Zombies. This is great news, especially considering there are now weapon unlock challenges in Zombies too.
Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Update
The Season 3 Reloaded update is bringing some huge changes to Warzone too. Let’s hope this also includes a fix to the biggest problem in Warzone, once we find out the patch notes.
Limited-Time Power Grab Game Mode
Firstly, a brand new mode called Power Grab lets players become an action hero! It’s still the last man standing, but players can collect dog tags by killing enemies and completing contracts.
These dog tags will let you buy back your teammates, and let you earn powerful rewards including an Advanced Gas Mask or a Specialist bonus.
This may not be a welcome inclusion as many players complained about how Foresight was way too overpowered. Specialist gives you every perk in the game!
Warzone Combat Bow Killstreak
Warzone players will now be able to find the combat bow killstreak in Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island. You’ll want to avoid these explosive arrows at all cost!
Let’s hope it’s better than the terrible RC-XD that annoyed Warzone players.
New Verdansk ’84 Map POIs
Finally, there are also three totally new POIs coming to Warzone’s Verdansk ’84 map. This will help keep the map fresh. These are Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard, Survival camps as well as a CIA Outpost.
And that’s everything coming in the huge Season 3 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone!
Finally, Call of Duty is tripling the size of its development team. Hopefully, this means we will see more cool events like the ’80s Action Heroes in the future.
