Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is in Fortnite more than a few times over, but how many skins does the web-slinger have, and how can you unlock them all?

Spider-Man is the world’s most popular superhero, and that popularity is certainly reflected in Fortnite.

What’s more, with the Spider-Verse universe giving Epic Games endless concepts for new skins, we’re sure that more are on the way very soon.

But for now, let’s take a look at every Spider-Man skin in Fortnite to date, and how each was unlocked.

Fortnite: How to Unlock All Spider-Man Skins

Spider-Man

The classic Spider-Man is one that new players will never be able to get their hands on, given that it was locked behind a Chapter 3 Battle Pass.

Unfortunately, it’s also one of the best ones out there, boasting Peter Parker’s classic colors, and even coming alongside some incredible alternate variants.

By completing the Battle Pass, players could unlock the Symbiote Suit style for the skin. And by completing Bonus Rewards, they could even get their hands on the Future Foundation Suit, as well as three special styles: Photo Negative, Scarlet Blackout, and Gilded Reality.

Spider-Man (No Way Home)

To celebrate the release of Spider-Man No Way Home, Epic Games released a special Spider-Man skin, just days after the Battle Pass variant went live.

The No Way Home skin comes in a masked or unmasked variant, and even features a Black and Gold Suit style. This wouldn’t end up being the last time we’d see Tom Holland in Fortnite, as the actor would also appear as Nathan Drake following the release of the Uncharted movie.

If you’re looking for a standard Peter Parker Spider-Man, this is the only one you’ll be able to actually purchase in the Item Shop.

Spider-Man Zero

It didn’t take Epic Games long to capitalize on the popularity of the Spider-Man skins, as Spider-Man Zero released just two seasons after the first variant.

This special Spider-Man comes from the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comics, and players can even obtain it by redeeming a code found in Issue 1 of the series.

Shortly after its debut, Spider-Man Zero also appeared in the Item Shop, but its futuristic take on the web-crawler leaves much to be desired for some fans.

Spider-Gwen

Was Chapter 3 just all about Spider-Man or what? Spider-Gwen made her long-awaited debut in Season 4, where she appeared as the final Battle Pass skin.

This time, the season had little to do with Gwen, which left some fans annoyed at her inclusion in the Battle Pass.

However, there’s no denying how incredible Into the Spider-Verse’s take on Spider-Gwen looks in-game, both with and without her mask.

Spider-Man (Miles Morales)

After months of leaks, rumors, and fans demanding his inclusion, we finally got the Miles Morales skin we were hoping for in Chapter 4 Season 2.

To celebrate the release of Across the Spider-Verse, Epic Games gave us a movie-accurate animated Spider-Man skin with both an Earth 1610 (mask on) and Miles Morales (mask off) variant.

But that’s not all that the collab brought with it.

Spider-Man 2099

Miguel O’Hara, otherwise known as Spider-Man 2099 also arrived as part of the Across the Spider-Verse crossover.

This skin may not feature an unmasked variant like many of the other Spider-Man skins, but it does offer a chance to play as another popular version of the iconic superhero.

We can only hope that more Spider-Verse characters, such as the fan-favorite Spider-Punk, also make their way to Fortnite soon!

Honorable Mentions

This section contains cosmetics that are not strictly Spider-Man skins but are at least Spider-Man-adjacent:

Venom

Not only is Venom one of the most expensive ‘Spider-Man’ skins, but it was actually the first one to appear in Fortnite.

The large skin comes with both a Default and Extreme variant, which players could earn for free by ranking high enough in the Venom Cup back in November 2020.

Spider-Man himself wouldn’t appear until the following Chapter, with Epic Games clearly saving the superhero for a bigger debut.

Carnage

First Appearance: Chapter 2 Season 8

Carnage appeared in Fortnite a collaboration with the Venom: Let There Be Carnage film, and it was another Tier 100 skin that fans took issue with for having little to do with the season itself.

The skin is undeniably cool, though this incarnation of the classic Spider-Man villain isn’t actually connected with Spider-Man.

Eddie Brock / Venom

First Appearance: Chapter 2 Season 8

Later in Chapter 2, Epic Games would release a second Venom skin, and again it came prior to any official Spider-Man collab.

You may notice that this version of the character doesn’t come with a spider logo on its chest. That’s because Venom is actually a collaboration with Sony’s Venom films, meaning that Venom never attached to Peter Parker before finding a host in Eddie Brock.

Speaking of Eddie, Tom Hardy’s character is also playable, and Brock can freely transform into Venom with an in-built emote.

However, this skin has not reappeared in the Item Shop since December 2021, leading many to believe that it will never return.

MJ (No Way Home)

MJ from No Way Home released alongside the Tom Holland Spider-Man skin back in Chapter 3. The character is modeled after Zendaya, who incidentally also appears in Fortnite as Chani from Dune.

Mary Jane Watson

The classic Mary Jane Watson (AKA MJ) appeared shortly after No Way Home’s version of the character, in the following season.

Those who prefer the comic-style red-haired MJ can find her swinging back into the Item Shop from time to time.

Green Goblin

Willem Dafoe is nowhere to be seen as this Green Goblin is more of a classic comic variant of the character.

The Green Goblin skin appeared alongside Spider-Man’s first appearance in Fortnite, bringing the superhero’s iconic villain to the Battle Royale, complete with his glider and pumpkin bombs.

And that’s it for Spider-Man skin representation in Fortnite – at least for now! If any further skins appear in the Item Shop or new Battle Passes, we’ll update this article accordingly.
