During the Pokemon GO Primal Rumblings event, from February 22 to February 24, 2023, the following Pokemon will be available to battle in Raids:
- Tier 1
- Treecko
- Torchic
- Mudkip
- Tier 3
- Grovyle
- Combusken
- Marshtomp
- Tier 5
- Tier 6
Not only is Rayquaza returning to Pokemon GO Raids, but any Rayquaza caught during the Primal Rumblings event will know the exclusive charged attack Breaking Swipe.
What’s more, if you’re lucky, you can catch the ultra-cool shiny Rayquaza, in addition to the shiny versions of both Latias and Latios!

As well as being Raid bosses during Primal Rumblings, the Hoenn starter Pokemon will also be available to encounter as part of the wild Pokemon spawns in the Primal Rumblings event. Therefore, you may want to save your Raid Passes for the Legendary Pokemon.
