June 2023 will be another busy month for Pokemon GO events, with highlights including the return of the Water Festival and a very exciting Community Day!
Here is the full Pokemon GO in-game event schedule for June 2023, with all of the event dates:
- Searching for Gold Research Day: June 3
- Water Festival: Beach Week Spotlight Hour: June 6
- Water Festival: Beach Week: June 6-12
- Axew Community Day: June 10
- Solstice Horizons + TGR Takeover: June 16-25
- Dark Flames: June 29 – July 2

Searching for Gold Research Day: June 3
Golden PokeStops are returning to Pokemon GO in the Searching for Gold Research Day, alongside updated wild spawns and Field Research Tasks.

Water Festival: Beach Week Spotlight Hour: June 6
The 2023 Pokemon GO Water Festival event is kicking off on June 6 with a special Spotlight Hour for Beach Week!
This Spotlight Hour will feature a whopping five different crustacean Pokemon: Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, Clauncher, and Crabrawler.

Water Festival: Beach Week: June 6-12
The highlight of the Water Festival: Beach Week event is the addition of Sandygast and Palossand to Pokemon GO.
There will also be the opportunity to catch plenty of Water-type Pokemon through wild encounters, Field Research, and more!

Axew Community Day: June 10
The June 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day features the rare Pokemon Axew.
This is probably the most exciting Community Day of 2023 so far, as Axew is usually pretty hard to find!

Solstice Horizons + TGR Takeover: June 16-25
The Solstice Horizons features different wild Pokemon at day and night, as well as the long-awaited return of Cosmog.
Additionally, in the latter half of this event, Team GO Rocket will be taking over once again, and this time Giovanni has a Shadow Regirock!

Dark Flames: June 29 – July 2
The Pokemon GO Dark Flames event caps off a busy June 2023 with the addition of two new Pokemon – Mega Sableye and Turtonator.
Additionally, there will be plenty to do themed around Dark and Fire-type Pokemon, including a branching Timed Research Story!
