Check out all of the new POIs in the Warzone Verdansk ’84 map rework.
In case you missed the huge nuke events over the last couple of days, modern-day Verdansk was destroyed. However, part 2 of the Destruction of Verdansk event took operators back in time to 1984.
This finally brought the new Verdansk ’84 map to Warzone. While much of the map is still familiar, there are some huge differences.
But first, make sure to watch the new trailer revealing the Warzone map for yourself.
All New Map Locations in Warzone Verdansk ’84
These are all of the new POIs in Verdansk ’84:
Also, have a quick look at all of the changes to familiar locations in the new Verdansk ’84 map.
Fans of the Black Ops series will recognize the base at the top of where Dam used to be immediately. This is very similar to the Summit map from the original Black Ops.
This location features a central base with a satellite dish on top as well as three gondola stations. These moving gondolas can take players from the bottom of the valley all the way to the top of Summit.
Also, in Dam’s place is now a bridge, which players can run or drive across.
Another new POI that has replaced a less exciting part of the Warzone map in Verdansk ’84 is Salt Mine. In the place of Quarry, Salt Mine has bright red pools and huge piles out salt to hide behind.
The two entrances to the mine are currently closed, but they could open up in the future.
Grid Radar Array
Just to the Northeast of TV Station is now a huge radar array. This is the biggest new landmark in the Verdansk ’84 Warzone map.
Players can climb up any of the 12 huge, connected towers to have a great view across the map.
However, to make the most of this new vantage point, you’ll probably want to unlock the new Swiss K31 sniper rifle. Find out how to unlock every new weapon in Cold War & Warzone Season 3.
A new airplane Factory has been added to Warzone’s new in one of the busiest parts of Verdansk. It is right next to Superstore!
Four warehouses full of vehicle parts (and possibly secrets), its location in Verdansk will make it a popular spot to drop.
It may sound like a perfect spot to hide in too, but maybe not thanks to this huge Season 3 change. The overpowered Roze skin has finally gotten a nerf.
An unmarked new POI in the Northwest of Warzone’s Verdansk ’84 is Old Mine. The locals abandoned it many years ago so it has become very run down.
The inside of the mine isn’t open for now, but it could soon…
Ok, so this isn’t exactly a totally new POI, but we’re including it anyway. Inside Farmland, you’ll be able to find a pretty faithful recreation of classic multiplayer map Standoff.
The grand town hall building will be a powerful spot to hold in Farmland and will totally change how the area plays.
This isn’t the only place you’ll be finding Standoff though. Warzone’s Verdansk ’84 map has a new Gulag based on the classic Standoff map.
Meanwhile, the Hunt For Adler event has begun in Cold War & Warzone. Where could the story go next?
