Elon Musk is no stranger to headlines, but recently his Diablo 4 character’s name has made strides in the gaming community, and now even the President of Blizzard has chimed in.
This all happened because Elon Musk received an invitation to a Twitter Space where they expected him to shed some light on the Twitter logo change.
However, it seems that they sent the invitation at a rather inconvenient time for Elon Musk, and what ended up happening was the Diablo 4 community’s interest in his character’s name had piqued.
What is Elon Musk’s Diablo 4 Character Name?
During a Twitter Space session, Elon Musk revealed the name of his Diablo 4 character is “IWillNeverDie.” The news came about when a user invited him to discuss the new logo change, interrupting his gaming session.
In the clip below, you can hear Elon Musk speaking with the sound of the game in the background. His answers also appear short, likely due to most of his attention being on Diablo 4.
It’s a strange exchange since it starts off with questions about Twitter changing to X but quickly diverges into Diablo 4 and other gaming topics.
When asked about his Steam username, Elon Musk laughs it off and comments on how he’s played on Steam for a while and that his main games are in the FPS and RTS genres.

After he revealed his name, many gamers commented on his class and stats, but Elon didn’t disclose much else. Some wondered if he had started a Hardcore Character, a permadeath mode in Diablo 4, due to the name.

The President of Blizzard, Mike Ybarra, commented that he might have the team pull up Elon Musk’s Diablo 4 character stats to see if he really has lived up to his name.
This definitely doesn’t confirm that Blizzard will expose Elon Musk’s Diablo 4 stats, but it is an interesting thought.
Elon Musk has shown his character builds in the past with Elden Ring, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he did something similar for Diablo 4.
