Elden Ring’s new “Burn Victim” build is definitely one you shouldn’t try at home, but it can make Elden Ring a lot more fun and stupid.
Elden Ring has plenty of incredible builds, whether they’re focused on solo content or builds for Elden Ring’s PvP meta.
It’s safe to say that Elden Ring features a variety of builds for any player, but some are definitely better than others. However, some are simply more fun.
And that’s where the Burn Victim build comes in. It’s unlikely that the Burn Victim build will help you reach any of Elden Ring’s endings alone, but it’s an interesting way to play FromSoftware’s hit game.
Elden Ring: New Spontaneous Combustion / Burn Victim Build Sets Enemies Alight
Reddit user u/Det_Wun_Gai took to the Elden Ring subreddit to showcase their “Burn Victim” build to fans of the game.
Sharing the short clip, u/Det_Wun_Gai says that the Burn Victim build is their “favorite build right now”. And it’s easy to see why.
The best way to get over the frustration that Elden Ring may cause is through memes. Here are the best Elden Ring memes so far.
Some commenters also gave it the name of the “Spontaneous Combustion” build due to the surprising nature of the attack.
Using the Fire’s Deadly Sin incantation to set themself ablaze, u/Det_Wun_Gai then runs around their victim, vanquishing them.

You can watch the full clip below, but how can you make the Burn Victim build for yourself? Well, follow our guide below:
Firstly, you’ll need to get a hold of the Fire’s Deadly Sin incantation, which requires 19 Faith. To do this, you’ll need to find it:
- Find the Flightless Bird Painting in Leyndell, Royal Capital. It can be found in the fortified manor, in the same room as the Site of Grace.
- Then, head to Dominula, Windmill Village, in Altus Plateau. Once here, head directly east and find Windmill Heights, where in the southeast, you’ll find a ghost in a chair who will drop it after they disappear.
Then, you’ll need a Sacred Seal. We recommend using the Giant’s Seal, as it will boost Fire Monk incantations, but any of the best Sacred Seals in Elden Ring will do.
Finally, you’ll need a light load, so remove any other equipment. And then, pump stats into Vigor, Faith, and Endurance to become Sonic but on fire.
Of course, this build is funny. But it doesn’t hold a candle (pun intended) to some of the best builds Elden Ring has to offer.
