Where to Find Rotten Breath in Elden Ring
Rotten Breath can be found at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion. The Cathedral is located south of Caelid.
Before you visit the Cathedral though, you need a Dragon Heart. This is the currency used to purchase Dragon Incantations.

For an easy-ish Dragon to kill, there’s one in Limgrave. Flying Dragon Agheel is a boss fight in the east of Limgrave. You can find him close to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins.

Once you’ve got a Dragon Heart to use, it’s time to head over to Caelid and earn those Dragon Incantations!

If you have yet to visit Caelid for the first time, it’s east of Limgrave. Or, there’s a shortcut if you follow our Elden Ring Meteorite Staff guide!
However, if you have already been to Caelid, the Cathedral of Dragon Communion is close to the Caelid Highway South Site of Grace. Head southeast from the Highway Site of Grace and you should arrive there in no time!

The Rotten Breath Incantation costs one Dragon Heart. Once purchased, you need 15 Faith and 12 Arcane to use it. It also takes up one of your memory slots.

Rotten Breath costs 36 FP to use, but it’s a really fun spell to use! Your player turns into a dragon and spews a Scarlet Rot breath over your enemies. Even if it isn’t the greatest spell, it’s certainly a cool-looking one!
You also need a Sacred Seal to use Incantations. You can find one that’s inexpensive at the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold.
