Elden Ring Predicted to Be Best Selling Game of 2022

Elden Ring’s continuing success is yet to finish, according to the NPD, as they predict the game will take the best-selling game of 2022 spot.

Elden Ring’s major success has seen it become a cultural phenomenon. In fact, Elden Ring took the best-selling game title away from Call of Duty Vanguard.

The game has been so popular that it’s brought numerous Elden Ring memes, theories regarding the lore, and even an urban legend-like character called Let Me Solo Her.

And yet, despite being primarily a single-player game, some people are predicting that Elden Ring will be the best-selling game of 2022.

But of course, the biggest prediction is that Elden Ring could beat out Call of Duty as the best-selling premium title. Call of Duty has only been beaten three times since 2009, making this a fairly big deal.

Of course, Elden Ring is mostly single-player. This means it’s usually one and done, except for those interested in Elden Ring’s New Game+ mode or replaying the game.

So for Elden Ring to take the top spot for Call of Duty would be monumental. However, only time can tell if this will be the case.
