Firstly for starters, Elden Ring will be From Software’s biggest game to date. This news will delight Dark Souls fans, whose game worlds have always featured extensive and immersive environments. Likewise, the new Demon’s Souls PS5 gameplay trailer shows off the beautiful game-worlds that From Software excels at creating.
In fact, the game world is so big that it appears players may even need the help of a trusty steed to navigate the open-world environment, which we saw a glimpse of in the trailer. Furthermore, in true Dark Souls fashion, Elden Ring will also feature a seamlessly interconnected game world.
Players who have already experienced From Software’s previous games will know that the developer’s attention to looping, interconnected environments is next-level. It’s hard to create a world that doesn’t feel like a bunch of jigsaw pieces glued together, in Elden Ring players will get to experience an immersive and interconnected world.
Elden Ring: Dynamic Weather & Online Co-op
Now, what good is a seamlessly interconnected open world without a dynamic weather system to compliment it? That’s right, Elden Ring will also feature a dynamic weather system. This is a marked difference from other FS games, which usually incorporate weather primarily in specific environments.
