FromSoftware’s games are notoriously difficult, so battle preparation can mean the difference between life and death in Elden Ring. Here’s how you can get more Flasks to stay alive in the Lands Between.

Elden Ring pits you against a wild array of creatures that will test your skill and determination for many hours. FromSoftware’s latest release continues the trend of pushing players to breaking point in search of glory.

And whilst creator Hidetaka Miyazaki claimed that Elden Ring will appeal more to casual gamers than previous titles, the game is still a fierce challenge.

That’s why it’s essential to enter the fray with the best possible Flasks so that you have a fighting chance.

The Flasks of Elden Ring

Flasks in Elden Ring offer you a boost that can keep you in the fight for longer. In fact, smartly-timed Flask usage can rescue you from certain death during the most intense boss battles.

First, you’ll need to learn the difference between the three types of Flasks available in Elden Ring.

The Flask of Crimson Tears is used to restore Hit Points, the vitality of the Tarnished that you control. Naturally, keeping this stat high is beneficial.

Be aware, though, that there are more ways to heal in Elden Ring than just Flasks!

The second type is the Flask of Cerulean Tears, which when consumed, restores Focus Points. These points are used for Sorcery and Incantations in Elden Ring.

Focus Points will be essential to any Mage-type character build, so make sure you know exactly what they do and how to permanently increase your capacity!

Finally, there’s the Flask of Wondrous Physick, capable of crafting various potion recipes, each with its own effects!

How to Upgrade Flasks in Elden Ring

Golden Seeds are the key to gaining more Flasks. These items can be collected from around the Lands Between and used at a Site of Grace to permanently buff your Flask capacity.

The seeds are found by Ethereal Saplings – golden, leafless trees that grow throughout the world. You can also claim a Golden Seed right at the start of Elden Ring – giving you a major advantage!

Once armed with more Flasks, you can take on the gruesome foes across the Lands Between, feeling a little safer than before.

But, if that’s not enough and you want to check out the heroic armor that will be protecting you in battle, we’ve got you covered.

Or if you’re still on the fence about Elden Ring and want to know what the critics think of Elden Ring, we’ve rounded up their opinions.
