Focus Points or FP are key in Elden Ring – here’s how to increase your character’s capacity and use them in-game.
If you’re a fan of Elden Ring’s magic system, you’ll need to know all about Focus Points. FP are used when it comes to casting Spells and Incantations of any type.
Of course, many players will be able to go their entire Elden Ring playthrough without worrying about FP. After all, Souls players are known for their creative playthroughs, and Elden Ring gives fans more freedom than ever before.
Because of that, Elden Ring has more of a leisurely pace than Dark Souls, which might not appeal to every fan. And if you want to focus on Elden Ring’s other critical attributes, such as Strength or Dexterity, you can do so!
Here’s a full breakdown of every attribute in Elden Ring and what each stat does!
Elden Ring: What Do Focus Points (FP) Do?
Focus Points or FP are used to cast Sorceries and Incantations in Elden Ring. You’ll always be able to see the amount of FP you have remaining via a blue bar on your HUD.
The more Focus Points you have in Elden Ring, the more Magic Spells you’re able to cast. Each time you cast a Spell, your total Focus Points will decrease.
How to Get More FP in Elden Ring
To replenish your FP in Elden Ring, you’ll need to use a Flask of Cerulean Tears. Once used, you can restore your flask via the following methods:
