Steamforged and FromSoftware are collaborating to bring players back to the Lands Between with the Elden Ring Board Game.

Elden Ring was one of the most successful video games of the year. It received immense praise from the critics and is nominated for multiple GOTY awards.

Now, FromSoftware and Steamforged are bringing players an all-new way to experience the lore and characters of Elden Ring with an official board game. Here is what you need to know.

How to Pre-Order Elden Ring: The Board Game on Kickstarter

Players can pre-order Elden Ring: The Board Game from Kickstarter up until December 2nd, 2022, at 12 PM PST/2 PM EST/ 8 PM UTC.

• Head over to the official Elden Ring: The Board Game Kickstarter Campaign.
• On the main page, choose the green button that says “Back this project.”
• From here, you’ll need to pledge to one of four options.
  • A pledge is a pre-order. You pledge a certain amount of money, and depending on the amount, you’ll receive different rewards. These rewards include different versions of Elden Ring: The Board Game.
• The pledge options include:
  • Pledge without rewards – Any Amount
    • This is just for those who wish to donate money to the Elden Ring: The Board Game Kickstarter Campaign.
  • Entry Pledge – £75/$90
    • This includes a 20-hour replayable campaign in the Weeping Peninsula Expansion.
  • Core Pledge – £152/$181
    • This is the complete starter experience of Elden Ring: The Board Game. It includes the base version of the game and all daily unlock rewards.
  • All-in Pledge – £364/$433
    • This is the complete version of Elden Ring: The Board Game. It includes everything in the Core Pledge plus all the available expansions.
• Once you’ve chosen your pledge, you’ll see an option for “Shipping Destination” and “Bonus Support” (Optional). Fill those in with the necessary details.
• Once that’s filled in, you can choose “Pledge (Amount of Pledge).”
• On the next screen, you’ll be able to add in any expansions or additional pledges that you may want with your order.
• After you’ve sorted that, if any, choose “Continue.”
• On the final screen, you’ll need to enter your payment information and choose “Pledge” after agreeing to the terms.

After this, you are set, and you’ll be able to continue your adventure in the Lands Between from a different perspective.

Elden Ring: The Board Game is estimated to ship in June 2024, but Steamforged has clarified that this is only an estimate.

Due to many of the logistics that come with global shipping, there are instances where some pledges may receive their orders earlier than others.

Although, there is also the possibility that all orders face a delay due to production, shipping, and customs.

How to Play Elden Ring: The Board Game

Elden Ring: The Board Game is a cooperative exploration board with card combat set in the Lands Between.

As players adventure, they will build their own overworld map filled with different resources, NPCs, and enemies.

Players can customize their Tarnished build with different items and ultimately build a unique story with each playthrough.

Elden Ring: The Board Game Kickstarted Campaign is a crowdfunding campaign meant to draw the attention of consumers willing to pledge a certain amount to reach their funding goal of $178,129.

The campaign ends on December 2, 2022, at:

During the Kickstarter Campaign, players can participate in a choice-driven open-world adventure to decide what the daily unlock rewards will be.
