If you’re going for a Faith build in Elden Ring, you’ll definitely want to pick up all of these best FAI-scaling weapons!
While Faith isn’t the most popular choice for a character build in Elden Ring, it still has plenty of powerful weapons you can pick from.
Of course, you’ll also want to make use of powerful incantations in Elden Ring that use Faith, but there are a number of great weapons that scale with FAI too.
We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 favorite Faith weapons and where to get them as well as a simple overview of the attribute in this handy guide!
But first, check out our breakdown of every other attribute in Elden Ring, including Faith!
What Does Faith Do in Elden Ring?
Adding points to the Faith attribute is a requirement for those interested in incantations – just don’t go over the attribute soft cap! This is because you need a certain Faith level to use most incantations.
Also, this attribute boosts the attack power of weapons and incantations that benefit from FAI scaling. All of the best Faith weapons below get increased damage depending on the level of your Faith skill!

Good FAI Weapon Options in Elden Ring
If you’re running a Faith build, make sure to get these amazing FAI weapons in Elden Ring!
Winged Scythe
Firstly, the Winged Scythe is a powerful Faith-scaling weapon that you can get pretty early in the game. While the Physical damage isn’t amazing, it does a lot of Holy damage and causes blood loss buildup too.
What’s more, its weapon skill, Angel’s Wings, is very powerful and slashes enemies twice as you jump up in the air.
However, you’ll need to know how to upgrade your weapon fast in Elden Ring if you want to use it later on in the game.

The Winged Scythe can be found in Tombsward Ruins in the northwest of Weeping Peninsula. It is in a small chest at the end of a hallway underneath the ruins – you can get there by going down some stairs.

Cipher Pata
Next, the Cipher Pata is a very cool fist weapon for players with a Faith build. You’ll need 30 FAI to wield it, but it deals a load of Holy damage!
Make sure you know how to re-spec stats and attributes in Elden Ring if your Faith isn’t high enough.
What’s more, it can be dual-wielded to have a blade in each hand and its weapon skill, Unblockable Blade, means that enemies can’t block your attacks.

You can find the Cipher Pata in Roundtable Hold. Jump off the balcony at the top of the big stairs in Roundtable Hold, enter the door on the left, and head along the lefthand side. There will be a burnt corpse on a bed – you can loot the Cipher Pata from it.

Gargoyle’s Blackblade & Gargoyle’s Black Halberd
Two weapons in one – the Gargoyle’s Blackblade and Black Halberd are both great for players with a faith build.
Both have a powerful weapon skill – the Blackblade in particular has one which lets you launch the weapon as a projectile. Whichever one you pick will depend on what kind of weapon you prefer!

You can get both of these weapons by defeating the Black Blade Kindred boss who stands in front of the Bestial Sanctum in Dragonbarrow.
This is just down the road from the best infinite rune farming spot in Elden Ring!

Coded Sword
The Coded Sword is an extremely powerful weapon for high-Faith builds. This is thanks to its B in FAI-scaling.
This unique weapon does no Physical damage but has pretty good Holy damage. However, its Unblockable Balde weapon skill makes it powerful because it means that enemies can’t block your attacks with it!

You can find the Coded Sword in Leyndell, Royal Capital. Jump onto the roof of the abandoned horse stable and enter the building next to it – the sword is in the room with the double doors.

Blasphemous Blade
Last, but certainly not least, is the Blasphemous Blade. This might be the most powerful Faith weapon in all of Elden Ring, thanks to its additional Fire damage. Although, you’ll need STR 22, DEX 15, and FAI 21 to wield it.
Additionally, its weapon skill, Taker’s Flames lets you steal HP from enemies you damage!
If flaming weapons are your thing, make sure you know how to get the Sword of Night and Flame in Elden Ring!

You can get the Blasphemous Blade by, first, climbing to the top of Mt. Gelmir. Then, you’ll need to defeat the boss Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy to get the Remembrance of the Blasphemous.
After that, trade the Remembrance of the Blasphemous with Enia at Roundtable Hold. She will give you the Blasphemous Blade.

Finding these will be a big enough challenge in Elden Ring as it is. However, there is still so much more to find!
