EA Sports Predicts World Cup 2022 Winner After Correctly Predicting Last 3 Winners

EA Sports has once again simulated the entirety of the upcoming World Cup 2022 using FIFA 23 to predict the winner. Something that they’ve done in the past with surprising results.

In the past, EA Sports has used FIFA to simulate the World Cup and see which Nation would come out victorious.

They have correctly predicted the past three World Cup winners using this method, including the World Cups held in 2010, 2014, and 2018.

Here is who EA Sports FIFA predicted to win the World Cup 2022.

EA Sports Predicts WC 2022 Winner With FIFA 23

EA Sports predicts that Argentina will win the Qatar World Cup 2022, with Brazil as the Runner-Up. This was predicted using a simulated tournament in FIFA 23.

They have been correct in predicting the past three World Cups, which include:

  • 2010 – Spain
  • 2014 – Germany
  • 2018 – France

The complete tournament played out as follows:

Lionel Messi led Argentina to victory as the Golden Boot winner with 8 goals. He also received the prestigious Golden Ball as the best player of the tournament for the Qater 2022 World Cup.

Emiliano Martínez took home the Golden Glove, reaffirming how dominant Argentina was in this simulated tournament.

Something that we could likely see in the actual Qatar 2022 World Cup if EA Sports’ past predictions are anything to go by.

FIFA 23 will also feature its own World Cup mode and even a limited-time FUT World Cup Event!

Players that make their own predictions can earn free FUT World Cup Player Items.
