A new era of football games is nearing as EA parts ways with the iconic FIFA name to bring EA Sports FC 24, and to mark this new generation, a new cover star will feature.

Appearing on the FIFA covers is a coveted spot, with only the most prominent names in the sport receiving this honor. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ronaldinho, to name a few of the former cover stars.

Most recently, Kylian Mbappé has been the face of the FIFA franchise since FIFA 21. However, with FC24 just around the corner, a new player will feature as the EA Sports FC 24 cover star.

Erling Haaland Set to Appear as EA Sports FC 24 Cover Star

Erling Haaland will be the new cover star for EA Sports FC 24, ushering in the next era of the EA Sports football franchise, according to trusted and reliable leakers Dealabs.

The Standard edition cover of EA Sports FC will show a real-life image of the forward taking a shot during a Champions League match.

Although Dealabs has an excellent record of reliable leaks, the developers have to confirm this information, so it is still worth taking this with a pinch of salt.

Unfortunately, Dealabs were not able to publicly showcase the cover due to copyright, but fans of EA Sports FC will likely have the chance to view it during the game’s reveal on July 13, 2023.

However, while Haaland will still appear front and center as the cover star for the Ultimate edition of EA Sports FC 24, the striker will be joined by 30 other male and female players.

The 31 players will be a combination of current and past athletes. Vinicius Jr, Son Heung-Min, and Sam Kerr are among the players you can expect to see.

Meanwhile, legendary players such as Pelé and Zinedine Zidline will also line up alongside the current football stars.

Additionally, unlike the Standard edition cover, these players will feature as their in-game models rather than a real-life photo.
