EA Customer Support Says Battlefield 2042 Players ‘Very Happy With the Game’

It seems that Battlefield 2042 players are very happy with the game, so long as the players you’re asking work for EA Customer Support.

It’s fair to say that Battlefield 2042 has had a rocky launch. Despite an insurmountable amount of hype on the road to launch, the game launched half-baked into a sea of angry gamers.

Many players feel cheated by DICE and EA, particularly those who spent upwards of $100 on the game. Right now, rumors are even circulating the internet, suggesting that Battlefield 2042 will be going Free to Play.

After all, many Battlefield players are reporting that they already can’t find a game as servers lie empty.

And with more than 90,000 Mostly Negative reviews on Steam, Battlefield 2042 actually has fewer players than both Battlefield 1 and 5.

But despite some fans calling Battlefield 2042 ‘one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history’, it seems EA Support has other ideas.

UPDATE: Battlefield 2042 Season 1 Release Date Delayed Until Summer

Battlefield 2042 Getting Praises By ‘Very Happy’ Gamers, Claims EA Support

In a new post on the Battlefield 2042 subreddit, one fan shares their interaction with EA Customer Support.

Reddit user beach13 had an interesting interaction with an EA representative, who told them that gamers were ‘very happy’ with Battlefield 2042.

Just one of the gamers still requesting refunds for the new game, beach13 was attempting to persuade EA Customer Support to give them their money back. We’ve actually seen some users successfully getting refunds for Battlefield 2042 after all this time, so fair play to them.

But after voicing their opinion that Battlefield 2042 was “a huge flop [that] failed to perform,” it seems that EA Support didn’t agree.

The representative even went as far as to state that Battlefield is getting praises from fans. What’s more, the EA rep reports they’ve seen “players that are very happy with the game”.

Battlefield 2042 Getting Praises From Fans?

We certainly wouldn’t claim that every player hates Battlefield 2042, not by a long shot. But we also expect that Battlefield 2042 players who have been in touch with EA Support were most likely there due to a negative experience.

That said, it’s worth pointing out that this EA Support employee can’t exactly mention that the publisher is disappointed in the title – whether that’s true or not.

Some Battlefield 2042 fans even want EA to scrap the game and start over, claiming that it can’t be saved. But what the title really needs is some communication.

Right now, DICE is still hard at work making a Scoreboard, which is set to drop sometime in February. And it’s been over 70 days since the game launched with no word on when Season 1 will arrive!

The only details we have about the new Battlefield 2042 map are from leaks. And the game just had to remove its new Battlefield Portal Zombies mode after it became an XP farm.

It’s clear that something is deeply wrong with 2042 as it stands. But it’s not like EA Support can just admit that.

I paid for the premium edition. I played a few times during early release and haven't since. Two unforgivable. No chat option or scoreboard that captures K/D. What a joke. Whoever made that decision should be fired.

Battlefield 2042 is at best preschool to the real Battlefield. No offense to any other game out there but the kind of people who played (no matter the age group) Battlefield weren't the kind who except trophies just for participating. Run Battlefield 3 side by side with 2042 going back that far and if can't see the stability and allure of Battlefield 3 almost 11 yr old game you are lost to the cruch of having things just given to you instead of earning them. Despite the stupidity of dropping Hardcore in Battlefield 5 I and many others still backed Battlefield but 2042 at best is pathetic and a huge disappointment. I urge to bring back the real Battlefield.

It wont even let me download the game. All their customer services does is tell me to uninstall then reinstall their desktop client, the game will not download, keep getting an error. What does EA do? Tell me to wait fir their backend team. Its been a month. Sent a complaint to the BBB because they refuse to issue a refund. Response they gave was "talk to our ea reps who can fix your issues" well you fucking idiot in already tried that. Afterwards they just ignored it and refused to respond to the BBB because they made a "gesture in good faith". Not surprising EA is facing a class action lawsuit to force them to issue refund. Right now EA has effective stolen 100$ from me, refuses to acknowledge my issue, and will not refund a product that refuses to download
