GobbleGums are more important than ever in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, and you can earn them at double the rate all weekend long!
If you’re struggling to farm GobbleGums in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’re not alone. While the powerful consumables are must-have items when it comes to completing Main Quests or attempting high-round runs, they are used up with every use.
That means if you have some overpowered GobbleGums such as Wonderbar (makes your next Mystery Box pull a Wonder Weapon) or Idle Eyes (causes all zombies to ignore you for a short time) you’re often reluctant to use them.
Thankfully, Treyarch is offering all players an easy weekend of grinding – here’s what you need to know:
Double GobbleGum & XP Weekend in Black Ops 6
From November 1-4, players will be able to earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and even Double GobbleGum drops in Black Ops 6!
That means that from 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM GMT today until Monday, November 4, players will be able to earn twice the number of GobbleGum while farming Black Ops 6 Zombies, and they’ll even get bonus XP for doing so.
GobbleGums are usually unlocked at random every few rounds, with an on-screen alert informing players every time they earn a new drop. This weekend, players can expect to see that notification twice as much – or perhaps they’ll just earn double the GobbleGums each time it appears!
This is the best possible time to head into Terminus and Liberty Falls in order to acquire more than your fair share of consumable candies – which is appropriate, given that it’s Halloween weekend.

Of course, all good things must come to an end, and you only have until Monday, November 4 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM GMT to earn twice the amount of GobbleGums. After that, the candies will return to their usual drop rate.
Hopefully, this means that players will also be able to farm Whimsical GobbleGums twice as fast as usual. However, given that these special rarity jawbreakers are usually only offered upon extracting at high levels, we’ll have to wait and see.
We’d advise farming all the GobbleGums you can this weekend. After all, we’ve got the confirmed release date of Black Ops 6’s next Zombies map already – and it’s coming later this year!
