The Diablo 4 Server Slam will allow players to venture into Sanctuary before the official release, but players wondering what happens to their progression.
One of the main components of Diablo 4 is to level up your characters to reach the end-game content. To do this, players first need to complete the main story acts.
The Server Slam Test will allow players to play through the story’s first act and reach level 20, but will all that hard work carry over?
Will Diablo 4 Server Slam Progress Carry Over to Full Release?
No, your Diablo 4 Server Slam progress will not carry over into the full game. Any characters you create during the Server Slam will be deleted before the game’s launch.
This means you will need to start from the very beginning when you first launch Diablo 4 during its official release on June 6, 2023.
Players will also have access to all five of the classes from the beta as soon as the Server Slam test starts.
The Server Slam will let players experience the entirety of the Prologue and Act 1. This area is relatively easy to complete, so you won’t need to repeat too much content once the full game releases.
There are also various dungeons that players can visit, allowing them to level up and try out one of the more advanced builds like the Whirlwind Carnage Barbarian.
However, players will once again have the opportunity to earn the Beta Rewards and even an exclusive new Mounty Trophy.
The Diablo 4 Server Slam will also include various fixes that Blizzard implemented after the player feedback they received from the beta.
But since progress will not carry over, any player looking to reach the end game content will need to wait until the official release to start their journey.
