If you’re hoping to start playing Warzone Mobile when it releases, you may be wondering how much it links to Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 via cross-play and progression.
Recently, Activision revealed even more details about the upcoming Call of Duty Warzone Mobile game, the full Warzone experience completely made for mobile devices.
Will Warzone Mobile Have Cross-Play with Console & PC?
There is no crossplay support for Warzone Mobile. Players will only go up against those on other iOS or Android devices.
This information was revealed in the recent Call of Duty Next live stream. Chris Plummer, Head of Mobile at Activision, said they were “avoiding the imbalance” that comes with mobile and console/PC versions of the game.

Does Warzone Mobile Support Android & iOS Cross-Play?
Players on either iOS or Android devices will be able to play against each other. But they won’t be joined by console or PC players.
Unfortunately, that means console or PC players won’t be able to play Verdansk when it comes to Warzone Mobile.
That being said, Warzone Mobile does feature some level of cross-progression in the game. There are also some features coming from Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2.
How Does Warzone Mobile Cross-Progression Work?
Battle Pass progression, as well as friends, will be shared across Warzone Mobile, Warzone 2.0, and Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty aims to help players progress the Battle Pass, whether they are playing on a console, PC, or on mobile device.

Activision has also confirmed that a lot of elements from Warzone 2.0 will be seen in Warzone Mobile. This is to help unify the three games.
However, Warzone Mobile players can also expect exclusive events that only mobile players can take part in.
