Warzone 2 DMZ Natural Treasure Guide: All Hidden Container Locations

One of the most interesting stories you’ll find in Warzone 2’s DMZ is a part of the Natural Treasure DMZ Faction Mission.

Although to get a hold of it, you’ll need to find hidden radioactive containers around Al Mazrah. A feat that can be easily done as long as you know the exact locations.

Where to Find Hidden Containers in DMZ – Natural Treasure Black Mous

To complete the Natural Treasure Black Mous Faction Mission, players will need to find three hidden radioactive containers hidden in the following locations:

  • D2 – East of Taraq Village
  • 7C – North of Sawah Village
    • Hidden underwater. Once you approach it, you’ll see it highlighted from above the water.
  • F1 – Northwest of Taraq Village

Once you accept the Natural Treasure Black Mous Faction Mission, you’ll be given these instructions:

  • Locate and loot the first Hidden Container at the oasis East of Taraq.
    • D2 – East of Taraq Village
Hidden Container #1
  • Locate and loot the second Hidden Container.
    • 7C – North of Sawah Village
Hidden Container #2
  • Locate the third Hidden Container and extract the Irradiated Drill found inside.
    • F1 – Northwest of Taraq Village
Hidden Container #3

Although, you do not need to obtain these pieces of Intel in order or in one DMZ run.

You can collect them out of order, and if you are eliminated, you won’t need to collect them again to complete the Faction Mission.

Natural Treasure Black Mous Faction Mission Rewards

Natural Treasure Black Mous Faction Mission Tips

To easily complete the Natural Treasure Black Mous Faction Mission, we recommend finding a helicopter to take you to each location quickly.

When you first drop into DMZ, your spawn location is completely random. Once you know where you’re starting, we recommend heading to the nearest Radioactive Container to start your mission.

If you do happen to die while completing the Faction Mission, then you won’t lose progress. Although, you will lose any Contraband Weapons you may have found.

To complete the DMZ Faction Mission in the easiest way possible, we recommend finding a helicopter to help you navigate throughout Al Mazrah. The Heavy Chopper is your best option due to its high damage resistance, but a Light Helo isn’t bad either.

If you can’t find a helicopter, then any vehicle nearby will do.

All DMZ Natural Treasure Black Mous Hints & Intel

When you find a radioactive container for the Natural Treasure DMZ Black Mous mission, you’ll find some Intel inside it that revolves around an attack on a nuclear plant.

Here is the intel found in each Radioactive Container:

  • First Hidden Intel: D2 – East of Taraq Village
    • “Black Mous seems to have taken an interest in our research. For some privacy, I hide the drill elsewhere, but ideally, we need to dispose of it soon. I left a better description for its location in another hidden container. I got the new recruits to bury it off the coast near the Sawah Village. they probably got lazy and threw it off the park’s cliffs.
  • Second Hidden Intel: 7C – North of Sawah Village
    • “To stay under the radar, the drill’s not far from where we left the boat. I buried it in a container on the east side of the river close to that dock in Taraq. You’ll find it under the electric pylon.
  • Irradiated Drill Intel: F1 – Northwest of Taraq Village
    • A drill emitting trace amounts of radiation. Evidence leads to this drill being used to enter the attacked nuclear plant.

The most interesting thing about the intel found in this Black Mous DMZ Faction Mission is that it mentions a nearby nuclear plant that was attacked.

Geekypastimes noted that there are no nuclear plants in Al Mazrah at the time and that this could be a potential hint for a future Resurgence-style map coming to Warzone 2. You can see what he had to say in the video below:
