Epic Games has once again teased a Die Hard crossover into the Fortnite universe via a suitably festive image on Twitter.

There are plenty of crossovers happening right now during Fortnite’s latest update, Chapter 4 Season 1. In fact, we’re seeing the likes of the Hulk, MrBeast, Geralt of Rivia, and more coming to the game.

However, it seems like Fortnite may just be getting a Die Hard crossover event, likely with a John McClane skin, just in time for the holidays.

Is Die Hard Coming to Fortnite?

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it would seem like Die Hard is coming to Fortnite. Epic Games CCO Donald Mustard recently posted an image of a Die Hard-themed Christmas Calendar to Twitter.

Mustard is famous for teasing upcoming collaborations before they’re announced. So, it seems very likely that the iconic action movie will be crossing over into Fortnite.

This isn’t the first time it was teased that Die Hard would be coming to Fortnite. Back in 2020, during the Apple and Epic trial, a document was revealed showing potential collaborations, including Die Hard.

The documents showed an iconic shot from the film that features John McClane, the movie’s protagonist, shuffling through an air duct with a lighter in his hand.

Of course, a Die Hard collaboration isn’t the only crossover coming to Fortnite. In fact, a beloved character from My Hero Academia is crossing over into Fortnite very soon.

When Is Die Hard Coming to Fortnite?

There is no official release date for the Die Hard crossover in Fortnite. However, it is safe to say that if it’s coming, it will likely launch sometime later this month.

There’s a very good chance that a John McClane skin would drop on December 24th as the movie is set then.
