This nightmarish audio experience was announced today through Diablo’s official Twitter (X) account. The reveal was accompanied by a teaser video featuring Dr. Leslie Ellis, a Dream Therapist Ph.D.

Diablo 4 Nightmare Fuel Audio Experience Announced for Spotify & YouTube
Diablo announced today an audio “engineered nightmare experience” called Diablo Nightmare Fuel, coming to Spotify and YouTube on Friday, October 27th, 2023.
The accompanying small teaser did little to tell us about this whole experience. However, we are confident it is audio only as it encourages listeners to close their eyes and face their nightmares.
What is Diablo Nightmare Fuel?
Diablo Nightmare Fuel is described as an auditive “engineered nightmare experience” that will be available on Spotify and YouTube.
At this moment, it is not certain this experience would include some episodic format or it will be a standalone chapter. However, the presentation teaser featuring Dr. Leslie Ellis gives us an idea of what we can expect.
In this video, she states everyone has the power to control their nightmares. Dr. Ellis also explains that this experience will bring the world of Diablo to those nightmares while giving you the tools to master them.
With this in mind, it sounds like this could be more of a standalone soundscape experience. Another option could be this being a sort of lucid dream-inducing guided meditation led by a narrator.
