This is because X’Fal’s Corroded Signet is part of Duriel’s loot table. Therefore, defeating Duriel is the most reliable way of getting this Unique Ring in Diablo 4.
However, you need to meet a few requirements before you can summon and face him.
How to Get X’Fal’s Corroded Signet from Duriel in Diablo 4
To get X’Fal’s Corroded Signet from Duriel in Diablo 4, you need to summon and defeat him in the Gaping Crevasse dungeon while playing in World Tier 4. After defeating him, X’Fal’s Corroded Signet has a chance of dropping as loot.
Defeating Duriel is the most likely way of getting your hands on it, as he is the only endgame boss that has it in his loot table.
This makes Duriel the best way to increase your chances of seeing X’Fal’s Corroded Signet drop compared to other methods of getting Uniques in Diablo 4.
To summon Duriel, you need to do the following:
- Deposit Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony in the Pestilent Altar in the Gaping Cravasse dungeon to summon the Echo of Duriel
- You will need:
- 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs
- 2 Shards of Agony
- You will need:
- Defeat the Echo of Varshan in World Tier 4 to obtain Mucus-Slick Eggs
- Defeat Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint in World Tier 4 to obtain Shards of Agony
After defeating Duriel, there is a chance that X’Fal’s Corroded Signet will drop.

How to Get X’Fal’s Corroded Signet As Loot While Playing Diablo 4
To get X’Fal’s Corroded Signet as loot in Diablo 4, you need to play the game in either World Tier 3 or World Tier 4 difficulty. You can’t find X’Fal’s Corroded Signet in World Tiers 1 or 2.
For World Tier 3, you need to complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon in Kyovoshad. To access World Tier 4, you need to complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in the Dry Steppes Region.
Like all loot in Diablo 4, the drop rate of Unique items is based on random chance. You’ll need to play the game as normal and hope that X’Fal’s Corroded Signet drops as loot.
You can do the following activities to increase the likelihood of X’Fal’s Corroded Signet to drop:
- Defeat Duriel in World Tier 4
- Take part in Helltides and open Tortured Gift Chests (particularly Tortured Gifts of Mysteries and Tortured Gifts of Living Steel)
- Take part in Legion Events
- Complete Whispers of the Dead requests
- Complete Nightmare Dungeons (higher tiers increase your chances of gaining greater rewards)
- Take part in Legion Events
- Defeat World Bosses
- Open Reward Chests and Caches
- Defeat Elite enemies
Although engaging in the above activities will increase your chances of having Unique items drop, it is by no means a guarantee of seeing X’Fal’s Corroded Signet in your game!

Builds with higher Lucky Hit Chance can proc more eruptions in any given encounter, causing devastating amounts of damage to those close to you.
