Staying alive in the world of Diablo 4 isn’t easy, and to survive your time in Sanctuary you’ll need to upgrade your Healing Potion.

Right out of the gate, all players get access to 4 Healing Potion charges in Diablo 4. However, as you get stronger, you may notice that those potions aren’t really as effective as they used to be.

After all, as you acquire more health, each potion will feel like it’s doing less than it did a few hours ago.

To keep your character healthy in combat, here’s how to upgrade your Healing Potion to match your new power level:

How to Upgrade the Healing Potion in Diablo 4

To upgrade the Healing Potion in Diablo 4, you’ll first need to speak to the Alchemist, Veroka, in Kyovashad.

Shortly after finishing the Prologue, once a player hits level 10, that user will receive a Priority Quest named ‘Health Potion Upgrading.’

Where to Upgrade Healing Potion Diablo 4

In it, they’ll be guided to Veroka’s Alchemist shop and given the resources to upgrade their Health Potion once for free.

Veroka will upgrade your Weak Healing Potion to the Tiny Healing Potion for no cost. Don’t get used to that treatment though, as you’ll need to pay up in the future!

After that point, it’s then possible to talk to any Alchemist and further expand your healing draught. However, you’ll need a myriad of resources if you’re looking to upgrade it much further.

Be sure to pop back to the Alchemist every time you hit the next level requirement as these boosts will really help you out.

As you can see though, all potions will restore 35% of your Maximum Life, meaning that they’ll never be terrible even without an upgrade.

But that initial pop of healing is essential when it comes to staying alive, so upgrading regularly is key.
