How to Get Tibault’s Will in Diablo 4
To get Tibault’s Will in Diablo 4, you need to play the game in either World Tier 3 or World Tier 4 difficulty. Tibault’s Will can only drop as loot when playing in either of these World Tiers.
You can also target farm for Tibault’s Will by summoning and defeating the Echo of Duriel endgame boss in Diablo 4 Season 2.
Defeating Duriel is the most reliable way to increase your chances of getting Tibault’s Will in Diablo 4, but you need to meet a few requirements before you can attempt it.
How to Get Tibault’s Will from Duriel in Diablo 4
To get Tibault’s Will from Duriel in Diablo 4, you need to summon and defeat him in the Gaping Crevasse dungeon while playing in World Tier 4. After defeating him, Tibault’s Will has a chance of dropping as loot.
Farming Duriel is the most reliable way of getting your hands on Tibault’s Will, as he is the only endgame boss that has Tibault’s Will in his loot table.
This will significantly increase your chances of seeing Tibault’s Will drop compared to any other method of getting Uniques in Diablo 4.
To summon Duriel, you need to do the following:
- Deposit Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony in the Pestilent Altar in the Gaping Cravasse dungeon to summon the Echo of Duriel
- You will need:
- 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs
- 2 Shards of Agony
- You will need:
- Defeat the Echo of Varshan in World Tier 4 to obtain Mucus-Slick Eggs
- Defeat Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint in World Tier 4 to obtain Shards of Agony
After defeating Duriel, there is a chance that Tibault’s Will can drop.

How to Get Tibault’s Will As Loot While Playing Diablo 4
To get Tibault’s Will as loot in Diablo 4, you need to play the game in either World Tier 3 or World Tier 4.
You will not be able to find Tibault’s Will in World Tiers 1 or 2, as Unique items will only drop in World Tiers 3 & 4.
To access World Tier 3, you need to complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon in Kyovoshad.
For World Tier 4, you need to complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in the Dry Steppes Region.
Similar to all other loot in Diablo 4, the drop rate of Unique items is based on random chance. You’ll need to play the game as normal and hope that Tibault’s Will drops as loot when defeating monsters and opening chests.
Engaging in the following activities should increase your chances of getting Tibault’s Will in Diablo 4:
- Defeat Duriel in World Tier 4
- Complete Nightmare Dungeons (higher tiers increase your chances of gaining greater rewards)

What is Tibault’s Will in Diablo 4?
Tibault’s Will is a set of Unique Pants that is available to all classes in Diablo 4. It is one of the Unique items introduced in Season 2. Its Unique Effect increases your damage and restores some of your Primary Resource when Unstoppable.

Paired with the Metamorphosis Vampiric Power in Season 2, Tibault’s Will is a very powerful get. This is because of the Unique Pants’ significant damage buff while you are Unstoppable.
Metamorphosis causes you to become Unstoppable when Evading and inflicts enemies with Vampiric Curse.
