If you’re looking to take your Druid into Diablo 4’s endgame, you’ll want to get your hands on the Tempest Roar Unique Helm.

Unique items are Diablo 4’s highest-tiered rarity when it comes to the various loot and gear drops you’ll find in the game.

Below, we’re going to cover what makes the Tempest Roar so powerful and how to get it.

How to Get Tempest Roar in Diablo 4

To get the Tempest Roar, you must play in either World Tier 3 or 4 and hope it drops as loot after defeating enemies and opening chests.

Additionally, you can target farm for the Tempest Roar by summoning and defeating the Echo of Duirel endgame boss.

Duriel is the only endgame boss that has the Tempest Roar in his loot table, which makes defeating him the most reliable way of acquiring it.

However, you must first meet some requirements before you can fight him.

How to Get Tempest Roar from Duriel

To get the Tempest Roar from Duriel in Diablo 4, you need to summon and defeat him in the Gaping Crevasse dungeon while playing in World Tier 4. After defeating him, the Tempest Roar has a chance of dropping as loot.

Defeating Duriel is the most likely way of getting your hands on it, as he is the only endgame boss that has it in his loot table.

This makes Duriel the best way to increase your chances of seeing the Tempest Roar drop compared to other methods of getting Uniques in Diablo 4.

To summon Duriel, you need to do the following:

  • Deposit Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony in the Pestilent Altar in the Gaping Cravasse dungeon to summon the Echo of Duriel
    • You will need:
      • 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs
      • 2 Shards of Agony
  • Defeat the Echo of Varshan in World Tier 4 to obtain Mucus-Slick Eggs
  • Defeat Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint in World Tier 4 to obtain Shards of Agony

How to Get Tempest Roar As Loot

To get Tempest Roar as loot you must be in World Tier 3 (Nightmare Difficulty) or higher for the item to have a chance at dropping.

You can’t get this Unique Item in World Tier 1 or 2 – you must be in either World Tier 3 or 4 for it to be able to drop.

To get to World Tier 3, you need to complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon after completing Diablo 4’s Campaign.

There isn’t a reliable way to get Tempest Roar as it is a random drop like most loot in the game.

Tempest Roar’s Unique Effect is aimed at Storm Wolf builds, as it turns all of your Druid’s Storm Skills into Werewolf Skills. This means that any bonuses that apply to your Werewolf Skills will passively apply to your Storm Skills, giving them a huge boost in the process.

Your damage also gets a significant boost, with an increased buff to your Critical Strike and more damage while Shapeshifted.

Additionally, Tempest Roar is great for casting your skills for longer periods. You have a bigger Spirit pool and an increased chance to get back 4 Spirit when casting Storm Skills. Great for doling out continuous punishment.
