What Is in Season 3?

There’s not much out there (yet) about Season 3 of Diablo 4, though Blizzard revealed more information in the Blizzcon 2023 Campfire Chat.

During the Campfire Chat, Blizzard revealed a new endgame dungeon and leaderboard system coming to Diablo 4 in Season 3.

We will update this article when Blizzard reveals more information on Season 3.

The Gauntlet

In Season 3, players will be able to take part in a new endgame activity called The Gauntlet. It’s a new non-linear dungeon, that has the same layout and enemy types each week.

You must fight through the dungeon and rack up the biggest score you can before the timer ends. Loot will drop at the end of the timer and you can also pick up drops called “Proofs of Might” to increase your ranking. The Gauntlet is only accessible in World Tier 4 and you must be level 100 to participate.

Leaderboards & Hall of Ancients

The main purpose of The Gauntlet is to try to get the highest score in leaderboards in various categories, which refresh each week.

After each attempt at The Gauntlet, you are awarded with a Seal depending on your score. There are four Seal categories that correspond to a different ranking in the leaderboards. They are:

  • Seal of the Blooded
  • Seal of the Steadfast
  • Seal of the Iron-Willed
  • Seal of the Worthy

Reaching the Seal of the Worthy places you in the top 1000 players of the corresponding leaderboard.

The top 10 players of each category every week are put in the Hall of Ancients, a permanent leaderboard that doesn’t reset!
