Blizzard just revealed that Diablo 4 Season 2 will center around the vampires of Sanctuary, and it will allow players to wield their powers as their own.

Season of the Blood will bring in new Vampiric Powers that players will need to use in order to fight against the bloodsuckers that are infesting the lands. This season will also introduce new end-game bosses and some much-needed changes to the overall gameplay.

Here is everything you need to know about Diablo 4 Season 2 and how it plans to implement Vampiric Powers into its classes.

Diablo 4 Season 2 Brings Vampiric Powers & More

Diablo 4 Season 2 will introduce a brand new questline centered around new Vampiric Powers that players can use. Erys will also join the players as a new Vampire Hunter companion.

Erys will guide players through the new season’s quest and likely serve as one of the main catalysts for the Season of Blood as a whole. Gemma Chan will serve as the voice for Erys during Season of Blood.

Blizzard is also planning to introduce some exciting new changes to Diablo 4 with Season 2 that include:

  • 5 Endgame Bosses for players to farm.
  • Gems will no longer take space up in your Stash.
  • Stash will have a search and filter feature.
  • Renown Rewards will carry over when completed on prior characters. This includes Potion Charges, Skill Points, Obol Cap Upgrades, and Paragon Points.
  • More efficient inventory management for Gems.

Vampiric Powers are new abilities that will replace Malignant Hearts when Diablo 4 Season of Blood goes live.

From what we’ve seen, it appears that these Vampiric Powers will use the blood of your enemies to increase your overall power and give you extra abilities in some cases.

Blizzard has yet to go into detail regarding these new abilities, but you can catch a glimpse of them at the end of the Diablo 4 Season of Blood announcement trailer below.
