A total of six brand new Unique Items have been released alongside Diablo 4’s Patch 1.1 update for Season 1.

Unique Items are some of the rarest items you can find in Diablo 4. They each have a variety of potent affixes that are usually much better than their Legendary counterparts. They also each come with a very powerful Unique Effect that can significantly improve your build.

Diablo 4’s Season of the Malignant introduces six more of these Unique Items to the game’s item pool. This includes one Uber Unique item, which is among the most powerful and rare of all items in the entire game.

We’re going to go over each of the six Unique Items introduced in Season 1, what they each do, and how you can try to get your hands on them.

What Are the New Season 1 Unique Items in Diablo 4?

As of Season 1’s huge Patch 1.1 update, six new Unique Items have been added to Diablo 4. They are as follows:

1. Ahavarion Spear of Lycander (Uber Unique Staff – World Tier 4 Drop)
2. Azurewrath (Unique Sword) – Exclusive to the Barbarian
3. Fleshrender (Unique One-Hand Mace) – Exclusive to the Druid
4. Lidless Wall (Unique Shield) – Exclusive to the Necromancer
5. Eaglehorn (Unique Bow) – Exclusive to the Rogue
6. The Oculus (Unique Wand) – Exclusive to the Sorcerer

Five of these Unique Items are exclusive to each class in Diablo 4 and cannot be used outside of that specific class.

There is one Uber Unique Item, the Ahavarion Spear of Lycander, that all classes can use. Uber Unique Items are extremely rare and powerful pieces of gear that have a staggeringly low chance of dropping for players.

How to Get the New Season 1 Unique Items in Diablo 4

To get the Azurewrath, Fleshrender, Lidless Wall, Eaglehorn, and The Oculus Season 1 Unique Items in Diablo 4, you need to be in at least World Tier 3 or World Tier 4 difficulty.

To get the Ahavarion Spear of Lycander Uber Unique item you need to be at least level 85+ and playing in World Tier 4.

After meeting the above requirements for the Uber Unique and regular Unique Items, all that’s left to do is to cross your fingers and hope they drop as loot from defeating enemies and opening chests.

To unlock World Tier 3, you need to complete the Capstone Dungeon at the Cathedral of Light in Kyovashad.

For World Tier 4, you must first complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in the Dry Steppes Region while playing in World Tier 3.

Here are a few of the ways you can increase your chances of finding Unique Items in Diablo 4:

• Play in higher World Tiers
• Take part in Helltides and open Helltide Mystery Chests
• Complete Dungeons and Nightmare Dungeons
• Defeat Elite enemies
• Take part in Legion Events
• Earn Grim Favors and complete Whispers of the Dead requests
• Defeat World Bosses
• Open reward chests and Grande Caches

It’s important to note that, as an Uber Unique, the Ahavarion Spear of Lycander will be significantly more difficult to find than the other five regular Unique Items.

The Ahavarion Spear of Lycander joins the above list of Uber Unique Items in Season 1. This means that you need to be at least level 85+ and above and play in World Tier 4 for it to be able to drop from enemies.

Here is a brief rundown of each new Season 1 Unique Item in Diablo 4 and what they do:

Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander – Uber Unique Item

• Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander Affixes:
  • +Damage
  • +Attack Speed
  • +Lucky Hit: Up to a +[XX]% Chance to Stun
  • +Critical Strike Chance
• Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander Unique Effect:
  • Gain a random Shrine effect for [10-20] seconds after killing an Elite enemy. Can only occur once every 30 seconds.

Azurewrath – Barbarian Unique Item

• Azurewrath Affixes:
  • +Non-Physical Damage
  • +Core Damage
  • +Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies
  • +Attack Speed
• Azurewrath Unique Effect:
  • Lucky Hit: Your Core Skills have up to a 20% chance to Freeze enemies for 3 seconds and deal [XX] Cold damage to them.

Fleshrender – Druid Unique Item

• Fleshrender Affixes:
  • +Damage while Shapeshifted
  • +Damage to Poisoned Enemies
  • +Ranks to All Defensive Skills
  • +Damage while Healthy
• Fleshrender Unique Effect:
  • Debilitating Roar and Blood Howl deal [XX] damage to Nearby Poisoned enemies.

Lidless Wall – Necromancer Unique Item

• Lidless Wall Affixes:
  • +Maximum Essence
  • +Lucky Hit: Up to a 5% Chance to Restore +[XX]% Primary Resource
  • +Attack Speed
  • +Damage to Distant Enemies
• Lidless Wall Unique Effect:
  • Lucky Hit: While you have an active Bone Storm, hitting an unaffected enemy has a [5-25]% chance to spawn an additional storm at their location. Each of your active Sacrifice bonuses increases the chance by 25% and the total additional Bone Storms you can have by +1.

Eaglehorn – Rogue Unique Item

• Eaglehorn Affixes:
  • +Critical Strike Damage
  • +Damage to Elites
  • +Vulnerable Damage
  • +Physical Damage
• Eaglehorn Unique Effect:
  • Penetrating Shot has a [30-80]% chance to fire an arrow that bounces off walls and scenery. Hitting enemies from behind with Penetrating Shot will make them Vulnerable for 3 seconds.

The Oculus – Sorcerer Unique Item

• The Oculus Affixes:
  • +Attacks Reduce Evade’s Cooldown by [XX] seconds
  • +Max Evade Charges
  • +Ranks of Teleport
  • +Lucky Hit: Up to a 5% Chance to Restore +[XX]% Primary Resource
• The Oculus Unique Effect:
  • Gain the effect of the Teleport Enchantment for free. When you Evade using Teleport Enchantment you are taken to a random location.

As all loot is based on random chance, a lot of patience and effort is required to see these Uniques drop. Though, the above activities should help to increase your chances.
