Activision Blizzard has revealed they will immortalize the usernames of the first 1000 Diablo 4 players to reach level 100 in Hardcore Mode with a real-life Statue of Liltith.

Hardcore Mode is always one of the most treacherous journeys that Diablo 4 players can embark on. It is a grueling adventure that can end at a moment’s notice.

This is why this reward carries much more weight to it and offers Diablo players a chance to cement themselves in history.

How to Immortalize Username On Diablo 4 Statue of Lilith

To immortalize your username on the Statue of Liliith, you’ll need to be one of the first 1000 players in Diablo 4 to reach Level 100 on Hardcore Mode.

  • Once you reach level 100 in Hardcore Mode, you’ll need to take to social media to show proof to Blizzard.
    • Send a public tweet to @Diablo containing the hashtag #Diablo4Hardcore, your full Battle.net BattleTag, and a picture or video with proof that you have reached level 100 in Hardcore Mode with a character.
    • You’ll need to show the “Tempered Champion” title that players earn in-game when they complete level 100 with a character while playing hardcore mode.
  • The challenge will begin on June 1, 2023, at 4 PM PT and will run until either:
    • September 1, 2023, at 11:59 PM PT
    • When 1000 players confirm their eligibility for the reward.
  • Players who obtain Early Access to Diablo IV will actually have a head start over players who pre-ordered the Standard Edition.

The full terms state that those first 1000 players will have their usernames engraved on a statue of Blizzard’s choosing.

Blizzard already announced on their Twitter account the statue they have chosen will represent the main antagonist of Diablo IV, Lilith.

Hardcore mode is a difficult challenge and definitely not for everyone. The easiest character to use for this is probably the Barbarian.

This class has a large health pool, and it’s easy to learn about Fury and how to combine your attacks for maximum damage.

What Is Hardcore Mode?

Hardcore Mode up the stakes in Diablo IV because players only have a single life with their chosen character. One death will permanently delete that character.

If you played the Open Beta, then you know what it means to have a character deleted. That character is completely gone, with no hope of being recovered.

The only thing to do after a death in Hardcore Mode is to create a new character and try again. If you’re looking to give this challenge a go, set yourself up for success early on.
