The realms of Sanctuary cross over once again with World of Warcraft with the inclusion of the Invincible Lich King Mount in Diablo 4 Season 2.

Sadly, the mount is not included in the Season Pass and comes at a high price. It is usual for the Diablo 4 store to have a hefty Platinum price tag on its most coveted items, and this mount is no exception.

Here’s everything you need to know to get the Invincible Lich King mount on Diablo 4 and how much this transaction will hit your Platinum wallet.

How to Obtain the Invincible Lich King Mount in Diablo 4

The Invincible Lich King Prestige Mount and Mount Armor four-item bundle in Diablo 4 can be purchased from the Cosmetics tab in the Shop for 2,500 Platinum ($25.00 / €25.00 / £20.99).

In addition, you can purchase each cosmetic in the set individually for 600 Platinum.

Unfortunately, these cosmetics are part of the store’s daily rotation system. Once they become available, you need to act fast to get them before the store refreshes and the items get removed.

To purchase the Invincible Lich King Mount from the Diablo 4 Shop, follow these steps:

  1. Launch Diablo 4 on your platform of choice
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Once you are on the character select screen*, press RB/R1 to go to the Shop
  4. The Shop defaults to the Cosmetics tab, so you should see the Invincible Lich King Mount here named “Invisible Aspect”
  5. Select this item and then confirm your purchase

*You can also make this purchase at any point in-game directly from the Shop tab of the game’s main menu.

Lich King Mount Looks, Lore, & Price Controversy

This whole ensemble is a direct homage to WoW with a fitting spectral look for Diablo 4. The in-game description of this cosmetic bundle reads, “The steed of The Lich King, both in life and death.”

Furthermore, we get some more lore with a brief narration of how the Lich King raised his faithful steed from the ranks of the undead with the aid of his unholy sword.

This would be the second time there is a crossover between World of Warcraft and the lands of Sanctuary, with various WoW events hosted to celebrate Diablo 4’s launch.

Unfortunately, despite its great looks, many fans have not received this bundle well. Due to the $25.00 price tag for all the items, many players are skipping and criticizing this cosmetics pack.

Hopefully, we will see more of these incredibly detailed WoW-inspired cosmetics soon, albeit at a price point that can keep fans happy.
