There’s a free trial for Diablo 4 on PC available now for a limited time until October 30th – just in time for Halloween.
Below we go over everything available to you in the trial, whether or not your progress will carry over, and how long you get to play.
When Is the Diablo 4 Free Trial?
The Diablo 4 free trial is available now (it began on October 26) on PC only until October 30th, one day before Halloween.
This coincides with the recent launch of Season 2, which has been out since October 17. It makes sense, as Blizzard has worked hard to implement many fan-requested features, improvements, and quality-of-life changes to the game, as well as a whole host of new content for Season 2.
It’s undoubtedly a great time to give the game a go if you have yet to try it!
How to Access the Diablo 4 Free Trial
To access the Diablo 4 free trial, head to the Diablo 4 section on the Battle.net website and click on Install Free Trial.
Follow these steps to get it on PC:
- Head over to the Diablo 4 landing page on Battle.net
- Click this link to get there directly
- You should see a banner at the bottom of the page prompting you to install the Diablo 4 free trial and a timer signifying when it ends
- Click Install Free Trial
- Alternatively, you can scroll down the page until you see the Diablo IV Season of Blood section
- Directly beneath this, there is a Free Trial heading where you can click Download Now to also gain access to the free trial
- Download the Battle.net client onto your PC if you haven’t got it already
- Install and launch Diablo 4!
Diablo 4 Free Trial: All Content & Does Progress Carry Over?
Here’s everything you have access to in the Diablo 4 free trial:
- Thankfully, all progress from the free trial will carry over to the full game if you decide to purchase it after
- All content from the base game and Season 2 is available for you to play
- This will give you a good idea of what the full game has to offer
- Your character level is capped and maxes out at level 20 for the free trial
- Diablo 4 is currently available to purchase at a 25% discount – the perfect time to jump in if you are convinced to continue playing
With the positive fan reactions to Season 2, now seems like the perfect time to hop in and give Diablo 4 a go at no extra cost!
