The Doombringer’s unique effect has a chance to deal a humongous amount of Shadow Damage on a Lucky Hit, while also significantly reducing incoming damage by 20% for five seconds.

This, coupled with the weapon’s extremely powerful affixes, makes it a highly desirable weapon indeed. Not only does it come with very high base damage, but the Doombringer also adds significant buffs to Critical Strike and Core Skill damage.

The Doombringer is also a great item for survivability as it increases your maximum life and gives you a chance to heal with every Lucky Hit.

All of this together results in an extremely powerful sword that has an absurdly high damage output, while also buffing your health and overall survivability. All classes can use and take advantage of the Doombringer.

How to Get the Doombringer in Diablo 4?

To get the Doombringer, you must be at level 85+ and in World Tier 4 (Torment Difficulty) for the item to be able to drop.

It was recently confirmed by Diablo 4’s Lead Class Designer, Adam Jackson, that the Doombringer is one of the rarest Unique Items in the game:

Therefore, the Doombringer can only drop from level 85+ and above enemies and only while playing in World Tier 4. It will always drop at a power level of 820.

To unlock World Tier 4, you must first complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in the Dry Steppes Region while playing in World Tier 3.

Once you’ve met these requirements, grinding for the Doombringer is similar to most other loot in Diablo 4. You’ll need to play through the game and hope this extremely powerful Unique Item appears as a random drop.

Here’s what you can do to increase your chances of getting Unique Items to drop in World Tier 4:

  • Complete Dungeons and Nightmare Dungeons
  • Defeat Elite enemies
  • Defeat World Bosses
  • Complete Helltide activites
  • Open reward chests

It’s going to take a hell of a lot of effort and more than a bucket full of luck, but hopefully, all of that grind will be worth it in the end.
