Diablo 4: How to Summon Every Boss to Target Farm Uniques & Uber Uniques

There is finally a way to properly target farm Unique and Uber Unique items in Diablo 4 by summoning and fighting the new endgame bosses in Season 2.

One of the biggest complaints fans had with the base game was how impossible it was to obtain these extremely powerful items. With the Season 2 update, fans are already seeing Uniques and Uber Uniques dropping more frequently.

Below, we go over which Season 2 endgame boss will drop each Unique and Uber Unique item and how to summon each boss to target farm for these powerful weapon and gear pieces in Diablo 4.

How to Target Farm Uniques & Uber Uniques in Diablo 4

To target farm Unique and Uber Unique items in Diablo 4, you must summon and defeat one of the five new endgame bosses that were introduced in Season 2.

All five have a specific loot table, with a chance to drop Unique items. Only one of these bosses, Duriel, can drop Uber Uniques and can only be summoned in World Tier 4.

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint – How to Summon & All Unique Items

You can find Grigoire in World Tier 3 and World Tier 4. You can summon Grigoire by doing the following:

• Gather Living Steel by taking part in Helltides
  • You can get Living Steel by opening Tortured Gifts of Living Steel – they need 300 Aberrant Cinders to open
• You will need 2 Living Steel to summon Grigoire in the Hall of the Penitent dungeon in World Tier 3
• You will need 5 Living Steel to summon Grigoire in the Hall of the Penitent dungeon in World Tier 4

Echo of Varshan – How to Summon & All Unique Items

You can find Echo of Varshan in World Tier 3 and World Tier 4. You can summon Echo of Varshan by doing the following:

• Gather four of Varshan’s body parts
  • You will need:
    • 1 Blackened Femur
    • 1 Trembling Hand
    • 1 Gurgling Head
    • 1 Malignant Heart (World Tier 4 only)
  • You can gather body parts from the Grotesque Debtor from Whispers of the Dead quests – Varshan’s body parts will drop randomly
  • You can also obtain Varshan’s body parts by opening Tree of Whispers cache rewards – this guarantees a drop of one or more of Varshan’s body parts
• Once you’ve acquired the body parts, interact with the Malignant Altar in the Malignant Burrow dungeon to summon Varshan in World Tier 3
• For World Tier 4 you need to have a Malignant Heart as well as do all of the above

The Beast in the Ice – How to Summon & All Unique Items

You can find the Beast in the Ice only in World Tier 4. You can summon the Beast in the Ice by doing the following:

• Craft a Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil at the Occultist to be able to summon the Beast in the Ice
  • You will need:
    • 9 Distilled Fear – has a chance to drop from completing Nightmare Dungeons level 30 or higher
    • 250 Sigil Powder – drops from Tree of Whispers rewards caches, defeating enemies in Nightmare Dungeons, World Bosses, and salvaging Nightmare Sigils
• Once crafted, activate the Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil to initiate the Beast in the Ice boss encounter at the Glacial Fissure Nightmare Dungeon

Lord Zir – How to Summon & All Unique Items

You can find Lord Zir only in World Tier 4. You can summon Lord Zir by doing the following:

• Summon Lord Zir by placing Exquisite Blood in the Bloodied Altar Ancient’s Seat dungeon
  • You will need 9 Exquisite Blood to summon Lord Zir
• You can get Exquisite Blood by completing Legion Events and defeating World Bosses in World Tier 4

Echo of Duriel – How to Summon & All Unique & Uber Unique Items

You can find the Echo of Duriel only in World Tier 4. He is the only endgame boss that can drop Uber Unique Items in Diablo 4. You can summon the Echo of Duriel by doing the following:

• You must deposit Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony in the summoning altar in the Gaping Cravasse dungeon to summon the echo of Duriel
  • You will need:
    • 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs
    • 2 Shards of Agony
• Defeat the Echo of Varshan to obtain Mucus-Slick Eggs
• Defeat Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint to obtain Shards of Agony
