Loads of Successful Customers in Target PS5 & Xbox Series X Restock – December 2

The Target PS5 stock levels had been rising for a long time so it came as no surprise to many that this was one of the biggest restocks Target has ever had.

Gamers had been eagerly awaiting the drop for about a week, thanks to many rumors suggesting that the retailer would be dropping consoles this week. And it was certainly worth the wait!

Many people have now shared their Target PS5 and Xbox Series X restock success stories on Twitter and it looks like plenty of customers finally managed to snag a new console at the start of December.

Many customers managed to buy a PS5 as the consoles remained in stock for a pretty long time – over 20 minutes. Some have even been able to pick up their PS5 already!

Although, the Xbox Series X was a lot more limited. While some gamers managed to buy one online, others have actually managed to buy one in-store in Target!

Additionally, others were less lucky. Like previous restocks, there were problems with adding the consoles to the basket or checking out the order.

A few unfortunate customers were on the receiving end of website errors which prevented them from buying a new console.

If you weren’t able to buy one today, there will still be plenty more PS5 and Xbox Series X restocks before Christmas arrives. Although, you’ll want to keep an eye out for future drops as they could happen at any time!

UPDATE: Target is now canceling lots of PS5 orders made on December 2.

Maybe it was successful for some people. Not for me. I don't expect to get my hands on a PS5 this year, and I don't know about next year either. When will they actually be in stores?

No reason at this point to not simply place the items in store on the shelves, with a limit of one per customer. That would be far better than the online free for all, and dealing with the bots, scalpers and general site issues.

With all those random cancelations and online order system crashes, it sure doesn't sound like it was a successful at all.
