According to a developer from the production of Death Stranding, the next game by Hideo Kojima could be getting a reveal very soon.

Video Game auteur Hideo Kojima has had an exciting career. From working on the Metal Gear Solid series to creating his experimental masterwork Death Stranding, his works have been eclectic. Not to mention complete game-changers.

And now, as Death Stranding has made its impact on gaming, fans are wondering what we can expect from Kojima yet. He's an experimental thinker, and quite frankly, nothing is off the table when speculating what's next to come from him.

Especially as it will be coming to the next generation of consoles, making it even more exciting.

Our fingers are crossed that the stock problems will have some kind of remedy soon, but the consoles are still selling incredibly well. Here's how many PS5s and Xbox Series consoles have sold so far.

Plus, given that Death Stranding is among many titles that crossed over between PlayStation and PC, maybe this new title could land on both platforms in a similar way.

Another PC and PlayStation title, the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn joined PlayStation's Play at Home scheme this month alongside these major titles, meaning you can play it for free right now.

Now, it looks like we could be getting a notification on the new game soon. A developer who worked on Death Stranding has offered an update and some insight into the next project from Kojima Productions.

New Kojima Game Could be Revealed "Quite Soon"

Al Hub has hosted an interview with long-time Kojima collaborator Yoji Shinkawa. He is best known as the art director of the Metal Gear Solid series and is responsible for a lot of mecha designs.

The interview was picked up by VGC, who picked up on a specific quote that has excited Kojima fans.

In the interview, Shinkawa hints at the next game that the production company is working on.

It's a short quote, but an exciting one nonetheless. The game must be pretty far along if Shinkawa is already talking about revealing it. We're excited to see what the Kojima reveal could bring.

But that bears the question; what could this new game be?

As it turns out, a Death Stranding sequel isn't entirely impossible. Norman Reedus himself mentioned that he's in talks to join Kojima on more projects, so perhaps he could return as Sam.

Fans are also pining for a Kojima return to horror. After the historic cancellation of Silent Hills and the disappointment that brought, players have wanted to see Kojima experiment with spooky stuff once again.

Whatever it is that's in the works at Kojima Productions, we can't wait to see what they've been cooking up.

Many fans have speculated that the latest Resident Evil title drew influence from Kojima's Silent Hills, and that game is looking stellar.

Here's everything we know about Resident Evil Village so far.

This information comes after a huge Capcom ransomware attack that leaked a slew of game details.

Plus, Capcom have teased another unannounced Resident Evil title for the series' 25th anniversary.
