Vonderhaar Answers League Play Questions

Many fans were totally outraged once they had given League Play a try. These are the reasons why Black Ops Players hate League Play already.

The complaints have led to many players tweeting to David Vonderhaar for answers about Treyarch’s decision-making process when making league Play.

Content creator SalvationsElite asked why Treyarch didn’t use an ELO system for League Play ranking. David Vonderhaar’s response wasn’t totally clear, but he gave “scope, accessibility, deadlines, and franchise” as some of the reasons.

Fans can also hope for further explanation in a future post from Treyarch Community Manager Josh Torres.

Vonderhaar also addressed some concerns fans had about their League Play rank. Many players have issues about their placement matches and what rank they have been put in.

While Vonderhaar can’t guarantee that League Play is working as intended in all cases, he assures fans that they will look into checking the ranking system.

Despite some of the thorny exchanges with fans on Twitter, Vonderhaar said he is “grateful for all the inputs”. However, it is not known whether Treyarch will implement any of these changes into Cold War’s League Play or a future title.

Fans will hope that 2021’s already-confirmed Call of Duty title will have a different League Play system.

Even if League Play was a disappointment for some players, everyone can look forward to these leaked weapons coming to Cold War and Warzone Season 2.

This isn’t the only hint for the upcoming season. A new cutscene has also teased what is coming in Cold War and Warzone Season 2.
