The Dark Armor Set allows Link to become Dark Link in The Legend of Zelda: TOTK – but it’s a little tricky to get hold of. Here’s everything you need to know!

Dark Link is the evil reflection of Link that has appeared in A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess and more.

The ultimate test of courage, Dark Link represents Link’s battle with himself, and often appears as a silent but lethal antagonist.

In Tears of the Kingdom, the Dark Tunic is only accessible to those who explore The Depths. And with a little know-how, you’ll be able to cosplay as Dark Link in TOTK.

Dark Link Armor Set in Zelda TOTK

To get all 3 parts of the Dark Link Armor Set in The Legend of Zelda: TOTK, players need to find 5 of the 7 Bargainer Statues which are mostly scattered throughout the Depths.

They will then be able to purchase each piece of the Dark Armor, the Tunic, Trousers, and Hood, from any Bargainer Statue for a total of 650 Poes.

Here’s where to find all 7 Bargainer Statues in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. But remember, for this armor you only need 5!

Dark Tunic

  • Unlocked by: Finding 1 Bargainer Statue
  • Cost: 150 Poes

Dark Trousers

  • Unlocked by: Finding 3 Bargainer Statues
  • Cost: 200 Poes

Dark Hood

  • Unlocked by: Finding 5 Bargainer Statues
  • Cost: 300 Poes
Where to Get the Dark Link Armor in Zelda TOTK

Each piece of Dark Armor has a defense of 3, making it not particularly remarkable – even if it is a nice reference to previous Zelda titles. Unfortunately, this armor cannot be upgraded using the Great Fairies, meaning you can’t boost its stats either!

However, wearing all 3 at the same time gives the armor a secret set bonus of Night Speed Up. Wearing the gear at night time will lead to Link getting a significant speed boost!

We wouldn’t add the Dark Armor to our list of the best armor sets in Tears of the Kingdom – but it’s a great reference to a fan-favorite character and we’ll be wearing it a lot.
