Cyberpunk 2077: How to Buy a Car
Cyberpunk 2077 has a large array of drivable vehicles to check out, complete with some excellent radio stations. However, V only starts out owning one vehicle.
Buying a car in Cyberpunk 2077 is more simple than you'd think, but there aren't any car dealers about. To purchase a vehicle, you'll need to be contacted by a Fixer.
This happens when wandering randomly around Night City. As you progress through the story, V will be contacted by various Fixers, offering jobs and often cars too.
Head into your journal, and under each Fixer's name, there will the cars they offer for sale. Check out your missions under the Rides heading, and you'll be able to track the car in question.
Simply approach the vehicle on the map and purchase it from there. Just like that, you've got a new car to summon at will.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Keep Stolen Cars
If you don't have the funds, stealing a car is always an option in Cyberpunk 2077. But unfortunately, there is no way to keep your stolen vehicle for too long.
As of right now, V won't be able to add a stolen car to their list of summonable vehicles. The transport will wait where you left it, at least for a while, but you cannot keep it permanently.
Thankfully, there are more than a few cool rides to experience in Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Holster a Weapon
Are you finding yourself pointing a gun or brandishing a sword in public too often? Perhaps you're scaring the local population unintentionally?
Thankfully, there's a way to holster a weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, but it's not immediately obvious. By double-tapping your Switch Weapon button, you'll be able to put away your gun in no time.
For reference, this button is Left Alt / Y / Triangle by default.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Change Appearance
Sometimes you tire of your old look and just want to switch things up. That shouldn't be too hard, given that this is the future and augmenting your body is readily available through Ripperdocs.
However, there is actually no way to alter V's physical appearance or hairstyle once you've created your character. It's a very disappointing omission, and we're sure CD Projekt is taking player feedback on board for the future.
Right now, the closest we can get to altering our Cyberpunk 2077 appearance is changing clothes. We hope you like the choices you made at the start of the game because it appears they're permanent.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Respec Your Character
Thankfully, it is, in fact, possible to respec your Cyberpunk 2077 character. Unfortunately, it's a costly process.
In order to alter your existing perks, you'll need a Tabula E-Rasa device. These aren't hard to come by, but they do cost 100,000 Eurodollars.
You can purchase the Tabula E-Rasa from any Ripperdoc in Night City, but there's a catch. You can only respec your Cyberpunk 2077 perks in this game - not your attribute points.
There's currently no way to alter your attribute points in the game, but CD Projekt may add one in the future.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Throw Knives
Cyberpunk 2077's throwing knives are a strange addition to the game. Not because they don't fit into the futuristic vibes; after all, katanas are commonplace in Night City.
Instead, throwing knives can only be actually thrown after unlocking the Dagger Dealer perk. Since the game is unclear about how to actually throw the knives once unlocked, here's how it's done.
First, you'll want to equip a knife and hold block. Then, attack while blocking and you'll launch the throwing knife at an enemy.
But here comes the projectile's greatest flaw: knives cannot be picked up once thrown in Cyberpunk 2077. We can only assume this is a bug that will be fixed in the future, as Dagger Dealer quickly goes from a cool unlock to one of the most useless perks in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Make Money Quickly
Looking for a way to make money fast in Cyberpunk 2077? The answer is simple: loot everything.
It seems that you're not stealing, no matter what you pick up nor where. Loot everything the Night City and its inhabitants have to offer, and sell it to the nearest vendor or Drop Station.
Hacking Access Points is also a quick way to make money in Cyberpunk 2077. These locations are found in almost every Night City mission and will net you some real cash.
You can also upgrade your earnings with the Advanced Datamine perk to boost earnings by 50%. This can then be upgraded to 100% if you're still hard up.
Finally, we also recommend finding drinks machines that sell items for 10 eddies a pop. Purchase all the available items, and dismantle them into crafting materials.
You can then use these materials to build Uncommon rarity weapons, and sell them on for major profit. You'll also level up your crafting XP with this method.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Breach Protocol Successfully
If you're deep into Cyberpunk 2077, chances are you've come across the Breach Protocol minigame. This hacking maneuver allows users to extract cash from terminals, weaken enemies, and more.
But the game is never 100% as to how the Breach Protocol minigame works, and it's a little confusing. Thankfully, we've got the answers.
When starting up, players will see a series of 3 sequences on the right-hand side. You only need to complete one of these to be successful, but it's usually possible to obtain more than one reward.
In the visible grid, select a starting point. You'll want to begin on one of the first numbers in the sequence.
From here, you'll need to select the next sequence number from the same row as your initial selection. Then, the third must come from the same column as you're now in, and so on.
However, if you end your sequence on the same number that can be found at the start of another, you can continue the game to unlock multiple rewards.
Feel free to keep things simple and target your preferred reward. But where possible, be sure to nab all of the possible unlocks.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Hack
Hacking is an integral part of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. After all, the future is completely hackable, in a very Watch Dogs-esque manner.
Almost everything can be hacked, and it's easy enough to do so. First, hold Tab / L1 / LB to scan your target, choose your Quickhack, and press F / Square / X to execute your chosen result.
Then, just like that, you've hacked your target. Bear in mind that you can only perform a limited amount of hacks at one time, based on how much RAM you've got (upgradable at a Ripperdoc).
You'll also want to spec into your Intelligence perks to unlock boosts to your hacking capabilities.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Fix Crashing
Cyberpunk 2077 isn't having the smoothest launch period, and many users are experiencing their games crashing. Thankfully, we know how to fix Cyberpunk 2077 crashing while we wait for CD Projekt to come out with a fix.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Get the Free Next-Gen Upgrade
With Cyberpunk 2077 being unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One at launch, many players are waiting for the next-gen upgrade. However, the PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game is still a way off yet.
We imagine that CD Projekt won't be so quick to throw around release dates at this point, although speculation suggests that an update could come in 2021.
Whether or not the Cyberpunk 2077 free next-gen upgrade is worth waiting for is down to you.
Cyberpunk 2077: How to Improve PC Performance
Although PC is definitely the best platform to play Cyberpunk 2077 on, it's still a difficult game to run. That's why we've compiled the best PC settings to improve Cyberpunk 2077 performance.
Over time, CD Projekt will be making the game more friendly to all PCs. In fact, the first Cyberpunk 2077 patch is boosting performance already.
