Diablo 4 requires players to find a lot of specific crafting ingredients, and Crushed Beast Bones is one that a lot of demon-slayers are missing.
If you’re looking to upgrade your Potion from a Minor to a Light Healing Potion, you’ll need to get your hands on 5 Crushed Beast Bones.
This ingredient will crop up a number of times throughout Diablo 4, but this will be the first time that a lot of players will come across it.
However, seeing as it’s not initially obvious exactly where Crushed Beast Bones are found in Sanctuary, a lot of users are being left confused. Thankfully, we have the answers you need:
Where to Find Crushed Beast Bones Location
Crushed Beast Bones are a loot item occasionally dropped by slain beasts, animals, and werecreatures in Diablo 4.
Many players are struggling to find the item because the game’s starting area, the Fractured Peaks, isn’t home to many of the enemies known for dropping Crushed Beast Bones.

Instead, Act 2 area Scosglen will be a far more reliable source of furry creatures that can drop the highly useful loot.
Best Place to Farm Crushed Beast Bones in Diablo 4
The best area to farm Crushed Beast Bones in Diablo 4 is The Scar, an area in the northeast of Scosglen’s first region. This is because it is here that the Gaspar Stibian boss spawns.

Each time Gaspar, the Level 35 boss, is defeated, it will drop a guaranteed 5 Crushed Beast Bones directly into your inventory.
And what’s more, Stibian is an incredibly easy boss to beat, as he seems not even to fight back most of the time!

We were able to take him down without him even drawing his weapon, and can confirm that he’ll drop 5 Bones per kill. After each defeat, Stibian will reset after a few minutes or shortly after a player logs out and back in, allowing for each Crushed Beast Bones farming.
Scosglen is also a generally good area to farm for the drop, as it contains plenty of beast-type enemies that have a chance to drop the loot.
What Are Crushed Beast Bones Used For in Diablo 4?
Crushed Beast Bones can be used at The Alchemist to upgrade your Minor Healing Potion to a Light Healing Potion.
To upgrade your healing draught, players will need the following items:
- Gallowvine x20
- Biteberry x10
- Crushed Beast Bones x5
- 470 Gold

This upgrade is only available once a player has hit Level 30.
In addition, the animal remains are also part of numerous Elixir recipes, such as Acrobatics and Assault Elixers.
Crushed Beast Bones are also used as part of the recipes in other late-game items, such as the following Incenses: Song of the Mountain, Chorus of War Storm of the Wilds, and Queen’s Supreme.
