Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Season 2 Update
Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War has been off to a rather exciting start so far. Players have been treated to the brand-new Zombies Outbreak mode, which features an open-world style map.
Interestingly, this is a first for the Call of Duty franchise. Never before have players been able to experience an open-world map. Furthermore, players are currently working their way through the second Battle Pass installment.
There are even leaks that suggest Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded will be coming to the game soon. Black Ops Cold War players may have more to look forward to in the next update.
However, it is these constant content updates that keep Black Ops Cold War players interested. However, sometimes it's good to remember your roots. There have been plenty of changes for better and for worse.
Many Cold War players have been discussing features that they would love to see make a return in the future. Amongst them is one feature that many agree would help to inject some diversity into the gameplay.
Perhaps the next COD installment will revisit features. Interestingly, Call of Duty 2021's reveal date has already leaked ahead of its announcement. So maybe the next game is set to deliver new and returning gameplay features.
Black Ops Cold War Players Want This Feature Back
Black Ops Cold War players have been discussing what features they miss from past game iterations. There is one feature that players are keen to see again one day.
This feature is to do with the kinds of weapon attachments in Cold War. In the past, there were plenty of unique and interesting attachments that many agree really injected the game with variety.
It appears that now Treyarch's focus is on making weapon cosmetics more interesting. For example, the Cold War 'Tape Deck' Mastercraft blueprint has this crazy hidden feature.
Black Ops Cold War players may remember how varied and interesting attachments used to be. There were many additions that Call of Duty veterans may reminisce about.
Amongst some of the most interesting were the bayonet, flamethrower, and grenade launcher attachments. There are many Reddit users who want to see these return. Take a look and what some are saying below.
Black Ops Cold War players believe that Cold War's weapon attachment system is lacking. Not only are attachments bland and uninteresting, but many agree that older games had a much more captivating system.
This is further exasperated by the fact that Treyarch does not communicate well what their attachments do. It is often left to the community to figure out these changes for themselves.
What do you think? Do you think older weapon attachments have a place in Cold War? Would you like to see more variation or perhaps the return of specific attachments?
There are already some older weapons that have been leaked for Cold War Season 2. Perhaps then this is not too much of a big ask to implement other elements back into the game.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Needs Fixes
Although players are happy with Cold War for the most part. There are a number of issues that are frustrating players. Amongst them is Cold War Zombies Outbreak mode connection issues.
However, Treyarch's focus does appear to be on rushing out cosmetic items rather than fixing the game's bugs and glitches. There is even a bug which is giving players billions of free Aetherium crystals.
