Black Ops Cold War players are already furious at the Season 2 Reloaded patch notes. Unfortunately, it looks like Treyarch may not have fixed the problems players have been facing for a long time.
Recently, players were promised a huge Black Ops Cold War weapon tuning update coming with Season 2 Reloaded. This is due to the fact that weapons in Cold War are not balanced properly at all, and haven't been since the game's launch.
Despite this, it appears that the latest Season 2 Reloaded patch has not properly addressed the balancing issues at all. In fact, it appears that Treyarch has completely missed the mark with what this patch was intending to achieve.
Now, players are understandably very angry. Treyarch's attempt to fix the problem has left players feeling quite frustrated. Here's what you need to know about Black Ops Cold War's Season 2 Reloaded weapon patch update.
Cold War Season 2 Reloaded Update Hasn't Fixed Weapon Balancing
Unfortunately for the Cold War community, it looks like weapon balancing is still going to remain the game's biggest issue. Interestingly, the Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded full patch notes don't appear to have fixed this issue at all.
Despite many Cold War fans demanding a nerf to overpowered LMG's, many have pointed out that a nerf to one of the game's most powerful LMG's only includes a 25% reduction to max damage range.
The Stoner 63 still remains an extremely overpowered weapon, even with the new changes. Furthermore, players have discovered that the Season 2 Reloaded patch makes very little difference to this weapon. Similarly, NICKMERKS has provided his most destructive Stoner LMG loadout, you may want to take a look.
Treyarch's solution to this problem is not effective considering that the Task Force Barrel takes the Stoner 63's effective damage range right back up to a whopping 75m.
Therefore this change actually does next to nothing to address the LMG weapon balancing issue in Cold War. Similarly, other weapons have also not been properly balanced, such as this insanely overpowered weapon combination.
Understandably, players are furious with Treyarch. After months of waiting, a proper weapon balancing fix has still not been implemented in the Season 2 Reloaded update.
Treyarch still has time to fix these issues and there is still more content on the way for Cold War fans. If you want to see everything that is coming to Black Ops Cold War in the Season 2 Reloaded update, take a look.
