Black Ops Cold War fans are an angry bunch, and some Multiplayer players are mad at Zombies for getting priority in Season 2.
Black Ops Cold War Season 2 is almost here, which is great news for those who want more Call of Duty content. However, not all fans are happy with the upcoming update.
Despite a large content drop coming with the game's second season, some Multiplayer fans aren't happy with what they're getting.
What's more, some particularly passionate users are actually unhappy at the amount of representation Zombies fans are getting in Season 2.
With a significant portion of the Black Ops Cold War Season 2 roadmap being dedicated to Zombies content, it's a good time to be a fan of the undead survival mode.
But not everyone sees things that way.
Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Is Lacking in Multiplayer Content
From what we can see, Black Ops Cold War is definitely dialing up the Zombies content in Season 2. After launching with just one Zombies map, Cold War is finally living up to its name as a Treyarch title.
With a new open-world Zombies mode coming to Cold War Season 2, alongside a Zombies Outbreak challenge event in Warzone, there's a lot to look forward to.
However, as a trade-off, some users believe that Multiplayer content is lacking. After all, there's only one new 6v6 map, Apocalypse, coming in Season 2 at launch.
On top of that, there are two in-season maps, Golova and Mansion, that will be dropping after launch. However, neither of these maps are for standard 6v6 gameplay, instead being utilized in Multi-Team and Gunfight modes respectively.
Now, Multiplayer fans are making their feelings heard, lashing out at Zombies and battle royale mode Warzone in the process.
We imagine that Apocalypse isn't the only map actually coming to Black Ops Cold War Season 2, however. After all, a Cold War leak reveals that 8 more map remakes are coming soon.
It's entirely possible that we'll get a Season 2 Reloaded, when Treyarch is ready to reveal it.
Players are equally mad at Warzone, which is teasing its End of Verdansk event in the Season 2 roadmap. With the battle royale being Activision's biggest priority, some Cold War players are having a terrible Multiplayer experience as a result.
All we can do is hope that one day Multiplayer gets more maps to help the game feel less stale. And fans already know what classic Call of Duty map they want to return in Cold War.
