Black Ops Cold War League Play hasn't been out long, and yet fans have already discovered a glitch that is completely ruining the ranked experience.
League Play is off to a rough start, since the new game mode was introduced players have not been too impressed so far. Now a new glitch is continuing to cause problems for Cold War's League Play mode.
Players have been looking forward to a competitive mode in Call of Duty for a long time. Since its release, players have been struggling to enjoy ranked play, some players already hate Cold War's League Play.
Black Ops Cold War League Play Glitch
A new League Play glitch has emerged which is stopping players from progressing in the ranked mode. The glitch is affecting players' ability to change their division at the end of each event.
In fact, the issues that League Play is experiencing have led some to believe that the entire mode is broken. Interestingly, some pro players have even been placed at the bottom rank.
The glitch revolves around gems, which if you know anything about League Play, is the key to ranking up. Collect enough gems during an event and you will be rewarded with a rank up.
However, the Black Ops League Play glitch is affecting the total number of gems that a player has at any time. In fact, the glitch is actively removing player gems and changing them into negative numbers.
Unfortunately, the key to ranking up involves collecting gems. If players are beginning an event on negative gems, it's going to take a lot longer to climb the ladder.
This is a feature that shouldn't even be possible, and it has led to a lot of frustration. The League Play glitch makes it frustratingly hard for players to monitor their progress.
It does not appear to be an isolated incident as there are multiple reports which confirm the same issue. Treyarch will want to work quickly to fix the bug before League Play becomes even more of a disappointment.
