Black Ops Cold War COD Points Bug Is Scamming Players

Black Ops Cold War players are in the midst of dealing with a bug that is scamming many out of their valuable COD Points. A new frustrating bug has appeared which is causing major problems for Black Ops Cold War fans.

In a not-so-surprising revelation, Cold War players are yet again dealing with a new, extremely irritating issue. It seems as though every day more bugs and glitches are found by players in Cold War.

This one might be the worst, given that it is taking real money from players. It looks like Activision is actually managing to get away with scamming players right now. Here is what you need to know about the new COD points bug.

Cold War COD Points Bug Scams Players

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, a new bug has emerged which is currently wreaking havoc on the Black Ops community. The latest bug to join the ever-growing list is the Cold War COD points bug.

This new glitch is responsible for scamming Cold War players out of their money. It isn't the only problem players are dealing with at the moment either.

Black Ops Cold War's Weapon XP glitch is infuriating players at the moment too. COD fans appear to be under attack from a wide variety of bugs and glitches.

Although Treyarch has now implemented a fix offering refunds to players for this issue, many are still irritated and unhappy with the state of the game.

In other developments, Treyarch has managed to anger fans further with their Black Ops Cold War R1 Shadowhunter crossbow mistake. Unfortunately for many players, Treyarch appears to be making all the wrong decisions at the moment.

However, the Cold War COD points bug is by far the worst. This new bug is affecting battle pass tiers and tricking players into thinking they are much cheaper than they actually are.

Cold War COD Points Bug Causes Huge Issues

Interestingly, many have noticed that at the moment Battle Pass tiers are highlighted as being on sale for 1 Call of Duty point. However, this does not appear to be the case. In fact, when players go ahead and purchase thinking they are getting a rather generous discount, they are actually charged the full amount.

Take a look at this Reddit post below, which highlights the issue in full. Bear in mind it appears there is now a fix in place for the issue:

As you can see, players are being charged well over the odds for a Battle Pass tier. According to reports, the sale is supposed to reduce the cost down to 100 COD points, however, the Cold War COD points bug is causing this to show up as 1 COD point for some users instead.

In other news, if you want to check out the latest changes in Black Ops Cold War, take a look at Black Ops Cold War March 18 Patch notes here.

Furthermore, a major weapon balancing update is coming soon. Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded will feature a major weapon balancing overhaul.

Some players may be excited about Cold War's worst weapon getting a major buff. Check out the changes for yourself to see if it's worth picking up.

Finally, Call of Duty 2021 teases are appearing in Black Ops Cold War Outbreak Mode. Perhaps in the next COD installment Activision can do a better job of producing a polished Call of Duty game.

We will continue to keep you posted on any new COD updates and rumors. As always we will also keep you up-to-date on the state of the game and what is being done to fix it.
