A reliable Call of Duty leaker claims that WW2 Vanguard’s co-op game mode will be Zombies!
Zombies has become one of the staples of the Call of Duty franchise. And with Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak Mode, Treyarch has taken Zombies to the next level.
However, many fans were beginning to have concerns that the upcoming 2021 COD game, supposedly titled WW2 Vanguard, wouldn’t have a Zombies mode. They might have been worrying for no reason if this claim is true.
Call of Duty WW2 Vanguard Co-op Zombies?
A huge new announcement revealed that the “built for next-gen” COD 2021 will be developed by Sledgehammer Games. This announcement also came with information that the game will have a co-op mode, but didn’t go into detail about what it would be.
However, reliable Call of Duty leaker @CallofDutyHope claims to know that the co-op game mode will be Zombies.
How this will tie into the heavily-leaked, gritty setting of WW2 Vanguard is unknown at the moment, as the leaker is waiting to reveal further details. But, fans of the series would love to see the return of Zombies in any capacity.
Surely adding a huge mode like Zombies wouldn’t help the “disastrous” development of Call of Duty 2021, but Activision may be trying to address this already. A recent earnings call revealed that Activision will triple the Call of Duty development team’s size.
This could also help out with the rumored upcoming WWII-themed map for Warzone.
While nothing about a possible Zombies mode has been confirmed yet, this would be huge news for COD 2021. Would you want to see Zombies return in WW2 Vanguard?
Meanwhile, the new Warzone skins for action stars Rambo and John McClane have been leaked! These will both arrive in the next major update. Make sure to check out the Warzone and Cold War Season 3 Reloaded trailer here.
Warzone may also be coming to mobile platforms soon if this Activision job listing is anything to go by.
