Where to Get Choice Band Location in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
The Choice Band can only be found in the Mesagoza branch of the Delibird Presents store. It will only be available to purchase after the game’s credits roll, once players complete the main story of Pokemon Scarlet or Violet, and it costs a whopping ₽100,000.

There are currently no ways to get your hands on a Choice Band without paying this huge cost, unless another player trades you a Pokemon already holding the item.
Thankfully, this new item duplication glitch in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet can get you infinite Choice Bands, or unlimited money with which to buy them!
What Does a Choice Band Do?
When a Pokemon is holding a Choice Band, it gets a significant 50% increase to its Attack stat, meaning it’ll dish out huge damage with Physical Attack moves. However, that Pokemon can only use the first move a trainer selects, until it is withdrawn or KO’d.
Giving a Choice Band to a Pokemon means it’ll be less versatile overall, but it will hit unbelievably hard with the move you choose to use first.
Plus, if you decide you want to use another move instead, you always have the option of withdrawing the Pokemon and sending it out later in the fight.
Note that a Choice Band only boosts the Pokemon’s Attack stat. Its Special Attack stat is unaffected, so make sure you’re giving it to a Physical Attacker.
Best Pokemon to Give a Choice Band To in Scarlet & Violet
The best Pokemon to give a Choice Band to in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are:
- Scizor
- Haxorus
- Azumarill
- Garchomp
- Tyranitar (Pokemon Scarlet Exclusive)
Or any Pokemon that has a huge Attack stat, an array of Physical attacks, and a few powerful moves that benefit from STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus).
STAB increases the damage of an attack by 50% if it matches the type of your Pokemon. For example, if you use a Flying or Water-Type move with your Gyarados, it will deal 1.5x the normal amount of damage.
Of course, with Tera Types allowing players to change a Pokemon’s type completely, it’s easier than ever to get the 50% damage boost from STAB.
Scizor is particularly strong with a Choice Band, especially if it has the Technician ability which already increases the power of moves with a power of 60 or less by 50%.
