When Can You Edit Custom Perk Packages in Warzone 2?

Since its release, Warzone 2 players have been left wondering when they can edit custom perk packages, and it looks like we now have a definitive answer.

Perk packages have been in Warzone 2 since launch but players have only been able to select from eight preset packages.

These perk packages have also come with quite a few bugs and it seems these issues will also be getting a fix in future updates.

When Will Perk Packages Be Editable in Warzone 2?

Unfortunately, it seems Infinity Ward has no plans to make Perk Packages customizable in Warzone 2. This is due to balancing issues.

In a call with Warzone 2 creators, Infinity Ward told them that perks should not be editable. If you are currently able to edit perks in Warzone 2, this is a bug.

This means that players will only be able to use the eight pre-made packages in Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 Ultimate Perk Bug Fix Coming Soon

Infinity Ward and Raven Software are also aware of the bug disabling the Ultimate Perk in Warzone 2.

If you own MW2, the Ultimate Perk would not be active in-game for Warzone 2 despite selecting it. Currently, the only fix is to select from the default classes when choosing your loadout from a loadout drop.

This was forcing players to choose between using their loadout weapons or using that final Ultimate Perk.

Make sure to keep an eye on Warzone 2’s Trello Board for updates on when Raven Software finds a fix!

During our call with Infinity Ward & Raven last week, the devs didn’t appear to know that the Ultimate Perk was not functioning in Warzone 2 and have said they will fix it.

They also stated that Perks being Editable in WZ2 is a bug and it shouldn’t be like that.

The Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded update has also brought a ton of new changes!

The Stronghold AI has been massively nerfed in Warzone 2 making it much easier to obtain your loadout. This will let you access one of the Perk Packages mentioned above.
