The three new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti, have incredibly unique designs, but can they be Shiny?

These new Legendaries, known as the Loyal Three, are seen as the protectors of Kitakami, the new location introduced in The Teal Mask DLC.

After encountering them during the DLC’s story, players can catch them in the post-game. Unfortunately, when it comes to catching the Loyal Three, Shiny hunters may be a little disappointed.

Can Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti Be Shiny?

No, unfortunately, the three new Legendaries in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti, are Shiny-locked and do not currently have Shiny versions.

While all three of them can be caught in Kitakami during the post-game portion of The Teal Mask DLC, you won’t be able to find a Shiny version of them.

So, there is no need to reset your game when you encounter them. If you want to catch them to complete your Kitakami Pokedex, then do so when you first find them.

Okidogi has a green, black, and pink color scheme, with a pink chain wrapped around its neck. Munkidori is blue, black, and pink, with a pink chain around its head.

Finally, Fezandipiti is brown, black, and pink, with a pink chain around its torso. Any potential Shiny variants would likely keep the neon-pink colors, as it is a reference to their Poison typing.

Of course, it is possible that Shiny variants will be introduced at a later date. While Legendaries, in particular, are Shiny-locked in their respective games, it is not uncommon for them to receive Shiny variants in events.
